USCIS cancelled my interview..help!

hello there. last march i got a letter from the uscis regarding my scheduled interview on april 26 for my aos that i filed. i was so excited to go to the interview even im alone coz my husband is deployed to iraq. :unsure: then yesterday i got an email regarding cancellation of my interview which i dnt know why. im so worried about it and wanted to know why did they scheduled me then cancel it. what seems to be the problem... can somebody experience this too...

My general advice is to go to the interview anyway. As others have stated before in your other topics, take copies of his deployment orders and ask him to request a letter from his CO verifying his deployment. IF you don't go, like my husband and I did-following USCIS notice of cancellation [along with VJ member Waren613] you could find yourself receiving a notice of denial due to abandonment ecause you failed to appear.

26 Dec 2006 received aapt.->01 Feb 2007 AOS interview->CANCELLED! rescheduled 01 Aug 2007-waiting

09 Feb '07-received denial of AOS--#######??!! MTR filed--Interview-01 Aug 07

27 Sept '07-I-765 [#2] filed--14 Nov '07 Biomerics for I-765 [#2]

Take it from me....GO TO THE AOS INTERVIEW DATE ANYWAY!!!!! EVEN IF YOU GET THE SNAIL MAIL NOTICE!!!

August 2009--Permanent Resident Card arrives!!!!

We are Finished with Immigration for 10 years!!!!

I concur. go anyway. we were cancelled twice. went to the second interview anyway. no mention of the letter of cancellation at all. They have turned away at least one person from their interview citing *no interviewed until namechecks complete* but we have seen offices all act differently on this issue.

oh thanks for the reply. i was just wondering how come i dnt have my biometrics appointment yet. and any NOA letter to the AOS or RFE that i filed... :unsure:

you never got an interview notice or a reply for an RFE? so are you saying you just got what seems to be a random email stating your interview is descheduled?

oh yeah what i mean is the EAD/work permit.. i filed it together with my AOS. i got 3 emails regarding cancellation of interview on april 26 and they said they give me notice if they need more document or reschedule the interview. i wondering too how come i dnt have any biometrics appointment yet...

i doubt your EAD has anything to do with this. Unless you were fingerprinted for EAD and not AOS or other way around.

Were you fingerprinted for AOS (10 fingers) and did you receive an actual letter asking you to attend an interview?

since i filed my AOS and EAD together, i only got one letter which is giving me a scheduled interview on april 26 and thats it. then i received an email regarding undelivered mail last march 28 which i donot know what is that mail all about..im so confused... pls help

ok thank. will they have the info what is that undelivered mail? im in reno right now can i just schedule an infopass here to ask about the mail or should i go on seattle which gonna be on the april 17?
