Ok guys thank u ....me and my fiance are very similar we are easily confused by paper work and stuff like this ...thank you both for helping me.

I just went through the process so I will be more than happy to help you with any question u have

The interview fee is 90100 to be paid at any gt bank in Nigeria.  Tell him to retain the receipt as it would be required to fill out the ds160 form.  Do not rely so much information on vj as they are not being regularly updated.

If I understand you correctly.  Your fiance needs International Passport. I just want to warn you to hurry up and figure out the process cause my fiance's passport got stolen and the replacement to more than 2 months because Nigeria ran out of booklets sometime last year and are about 2 to 3 months behind in processing.  He even paid for an expedite and the agent kept lying telling him it was almost ready for a month. Finally he traveled from Lagos to Abuja and found out it had not even started processing yet (all the while the agent was asking for additional money).

My fiancé also had problems with his passport. He's was actually expired but luckily for us he had a friend who's an immigration officer that worked out a new passport for him. He received it in less than a week
