Sending I-134 with the Original K-1 packet

I have read that on one hand you can send the I-134 with the original packet and also have read that its not needed and is discouraged from sending.

what are everyones thoughts on this, from people who have sent it and people who have not.

Also i have included 2015 Tax returns, i have no problem meeting the minimum requirements, do i also need Bank Statements?

Personally I wouldn't send it. It's just more paperwork that they don't want to go through and a higher possibility of it getting lost. (More stuff you send, higher chances)

By the time it gets to embassy, they're going to want 2016 tax returns and updated information. 


It's always best to wait until around you expect your NOA2 or know it's going to the embassy, there have been changes to the forms, there could be more requirements in the future, etc. Plus, again, they want recent information, and they will most def expect a 2016 return.

It won't help your case because the adjucator will probably see what it is and throw it back on the pile. The people doing the I-129F have NOTHING to do with what happens at the embassy, if you're trying to make it so you don't have to send the paperwork again in the future (the only reason I've seen people do this), don't bother as you'll probably get 221g'd (221g with considerations (more documentation needed before visa issuance)) if you expect them to take what you're sending now. (Again, will need 2016 tax return  by the time of interview)

Don't send the form or tax returns with the i-129f package. USCIS don't care one bit about that, the foreigner brings it to the interview.

It would just be extra work for nothing.

Financial, taxes and support documents are only required at interview. No need to send with k1 application.
