Congratulations!!  A whole year hey, they seem for some reason to be slowing down, use to be around 10 or 11 months.   Any way pleased for you, go celebrate! Next.......

My local field office which is Minneapolis-St  Paul is processing N-400s from November 2016. That's almost as bad as ROC.

That is crazy. I don't understand it at all as Minneapolis isn't Florida nor is it California with high populations.  Hopefully that will change when they decide to update the latest processing times. Use to be mid month but lately even that is later and later.

Good morning all.  Well its still snowing here, (shame its not raining down GC's).  I don't much care for snow, but know spring is around the corner.  Any way hoping everyone has a Happy GC Day. Hoping once more to hear of lots of people's approvals.  Good luck guys!!

Try after midnight or very early morning.  The letter extends the expired card by a year, but worth trying to get a stamp. Hope you hear shortly.

For our area, 12 - 3AM in the morning is the best time when I see a lot of openings. And by 4AM, all are gone. Just like they hide it all suddenly after 4am

 

If you fail to find an appointment, you can try walking in. Like for our area, everybody online and their rep on phone said you can't walk in. But when I went there for my appointment there were 3 people already without appointments being seen.

 

Secondly, you can try a method that worked for me if you're little techy:

I'm in California and it says processing cases as of date March 2017... but it also says that field office dates as of Nov 2017, so there haven't been an online update for a few months.

my field office in Seattle only at January 2017. I meant I felt I made a wrong move applying my N400

They are always 2 months behind with processing dates, probably to stop us from doing a case inquiry.

I doubt you have, even if you waited for your ROC those dates for N400 wont change much, so the sooner you apply the better really.

So when they combine the ROC and N-400 together does that mean they get approved at the same time meaning both paperworks being approved at the same time (before the citizenship test). Or will ROC be approved like for example a few months before N-400 in which my hubby would have his new GC a few months before his N-400 paperwork is approved.
