No you're not the only one who has not been approved via Vermont, I think around half have and half of vermont Jan filers. Your status wont always change online, many people have had letters with no activity on their USCIS whatsoever. Hold in there, Im sure you will hear in the next couple of weeks. :)

Thanks. Hopefully all of us will get  the approval soon. 😊

Here's hoping, have you signed up for USPS informed delivery. I did about 6 months ago, if our status does not change and there is no sign of our case being touched on our USCIS profile, how do we know to look out for mail/post from them?  I don't get it to be honest, if it was a credit card it would come disguised mail, if it we are sending important documents we would ask for a signature. However, USCIS with all the fees we pay don't think that GC's are important enough to send by secure mail. Identity fraud, eat your heart out! Just saying, ok time off from my podium! :)

Vermont filer here still awaiting approval.  Vermont received the application on March 2nd.  I'm assuming an info pass appointment will need to be made in the next week or two.  From what I'm understanding from this thread is that I can't schedule and appointment until two weeks before the 1 year letter expires?

Green card comes by Priority envelope with tracking through usps. So at least that's something. Your informed delivery should show packages too. Anything with a tracking number like the priority envelope is considered a package. I'm a postal clerk.

First, I would like to extend sincere congratulation to whom got approved. For those who have not, I wish you all the best as well. I'm CSC and you how it works :ranting: I got my I-551 stamp 3 weeks ago because my mortgage underwriter required it to approve my loan (of course they don't like the extension letter.....). The lady who gave me a stamp said: "I could not give me a stamp more than 30 days before the expiration date on the Green card itself. HOWEVER, since you have a letter from the lender requires it, I can give you an exception." She took away my GC and then stamped I-551 with a 1 year extension from that date with the note "I-751 pending, expired card take CR6." Since there is no hope that CSC will touch our I-751 soon so I applied N400 online last Saturday and received an automatic response on Sunday that they accepted my application and it would take 8 months before they work on my N-400. I'm glad that I am a part of Feb 2017 family. Thank you so much for all your help and kindness. Hope to see some of you again in N400 Feb filler thread.

Question. When you get stamp in passport and they take away your GC for you have to carry your passport on your person at all times like you're legally required to do with GC?

I look forward to seeing familiar faces in the N-400 Feb filers as well. Submitting ours on February 23rd.

I didn't know you could see when they last touched your case. Everytime I check case status it doesn't show that. Just says your case was received.

You have to create an account to see this page. I took an advice from here as well. And once you have created the account, you dont need to input your case number everytime you visit and check.

I've heard differently from many people. I got a stamp and my card wasn't taken away. Some posters have said their card was taken away or that the officer would puncture a hole/cut the corner of their card. Mine was given back in whole condition.
