Sorry, we "as CSC filers" should wait 6-8 months more than them

Has anyone gone to Mexico with your i551 stamp? I am going in May. My stamp will be expired in July. I am a little worry.

No, it was VSC. It should be in my profile? I got the approval letter a little over a week ago, I just thought it would take them longer to actually produce and mail the card

If you look in the January 17 filers, one couple go to Mexico each weekend.  @espared12  might be able to help you regarding Mexico and crossing the border with the stamp.

I think a week to hit a button is a LONG time. I mean lets be honest here, hit the button approval and then hit the button produce card, can't be that hard, unless they make it that way, which wouldnt at all surprise me.;(

Oh I completely agree! I've just been dealing with USCIS for so long now (as have we all!) that I expected a much longer wait. In fact, I didn't expect the online tracker to update at all, I just figured my green card would be in my mailbox in a month or two.

You are welcome. hhahahaaa Yes CSC is way behind at a snail speed. There is some movement at CSC end but I doubt it will pick up any speed anytime soon. Shell you will also be eligible to file for Naturalization next month that's another exciting thing  My focus is now on the naturalization rather than ROC.

Hubby and I got our taxes done today we are getting enough back in a refund so we can cover his naturalization fees so we won't have to pull it out of savings. We are excited.

speaking of naturalization, i just watch the news that Trumph wants to implement 12 years before you can be eligible for naturalization. LOL!

Exactly what mine says, however apparently it doesn't always change when they send the approval letter.  You should hear within the month though as it seems they are processing February filers right now, well Vermont ones. Good luck!
