You can only carry one valid GC/equivalent at the time, hence you get the stamp in lieu of the card.  Plus I'd have to say that we are fortunate to live in Minnesota and be serviced by the very nice people at the office.  Not sure if the Minnesota niceness stretches beyond the border but from my experience of traveling around the country no other government employees treat me as well as the ones here in Minnesota (USCIS, CBP, etc.).

I'm glad. We are in Minnesota too.

i gave them every single bank statement with our joint bank account, then lots of photos, mail receipts that i had kept with my name on and some of his, which tends to accumulate after 3 years of being married.

Here's what we submitted. Our weakness is no photos.

Scan of front and back of his green card

Scan of front and back of his state id

2014,2015,2016 tax returns filed jointly  2014,2015, 2016 tax transcripts from IRS

Scan of health insurance card showing both our names

Flight tickets showing our two trips to the UK together in the last two years  Scans of both our passport

Explanation of benefits for health insurance showing both our names and medical appointments for the last three years

Explanation of benefits for dental addressed to me because I'm the policy holder and showing him as patient  Dental statements addressed to me showing his name as patient

6 months worth of electric and Comcast bills showing both our names

6 months of bank statements from our individual bank accounts. We have separate accounts but our statements plainly show us transferring money between each other for bills and rent.  Leases from the last three years showing both our names

CRPs from the last three years showing both our names

Statement from landlord affirming we have lived together since he came on K-1.

Four affidavits from friends.

One greeting card from his aunt back in the UK.

Two greetings cards from friends.

Co-Op membership showing both our names.

Invoices from online purchases showing his name and address

Metrotransit confirmation emails showing his name and our address

And with all of this our packet is just 1 lbs. Or 1 lbs and a half. Like I said our only weakness is no photos which is what I believe may trigger an interview. Then again getting an interview probably depends on a lot of things, not just adequate evidence, but country and the adjudicator you get. What one adjudicator might see as sufficient another may see as insufficient.

If we get interview and its here in Minnesota hopefully they'll be Minnesota nice.

I wish us all good luck and positive answers asap.

Are there anyone else, except of me who are divorced?

I married an American Citizen and signed a waterproof pre.nup for his sake.

He own his house and continued to be on all maintenance bills.

We had a joint account at the bank.

After 7months it turned out he had an ongoing intimate relationship (since 3,5years back) with someone else. He had made us both believe we are paranoid..

Long story short - I had to escape and applied for annulment and some compensation to be able to move back to my home country,

He didn't want annulment (because then it would be clear for everyone he was a fraud) so I had to say yes to divorce.

If I would have know what was coming, I would have chosen another kind of divorce attorney. A shark instead of a family attorney from the neighborhood.

He made the divorce really nasty, including false statement, threats (also my attorney was threatened) and continued to harass me badly for a year after the divorce was finalized (crazy e-mails and threats), even when I just wanted a signature and bye-bye and no contact at all with him after I escaped.

I have opted me out and disappeared almost completely from internet for to feel safe.

The long divorce process emptied my savings. I also learned to my surprise that even when I was divorced I have legal right to apply for to stay here in US. I got a great temporary position on my dream job. The temporary position could have been a continuous one from next month. But because Im still waiting for the 10y GC, they hired someone else (I was informed past week about this).

I hope I will find an income source while waiting for the 10y GC...

I dont dare to update my Linkedin Profile (about where I live and my positions 2y back), because I dont want him to see where I am.

I dont have more evidence (I just escaped with my personal belongings) than proof of joint bank account, e-mails, pictures, personal mails and statements from his and my family. He paid my health insurance, and closed it without my knowledge. I didn't know then this is illegal, but the healthcare provider, who made a mistake, say its impossible to close without my knowledge and wash their hands.

I made my TaxReturns as "single" instead of separated, because I was afraid he would be informed about my address through IRS.

So... I hope to have the GC soon.. so Ill be able to start to root in this wonderful country, where I, to my surprise live right now and where I feel I belong, and know I will be a great citizen and do a lot of good for the community.

Im sure you will be fine. I have less than you, I was not on the mortgage nor on any of the utility bills, but it is what it is and we can't conjure up what we don't have in evidence. I sent a cover letter too. To be honest I am not bothered whether I get interviewed or not. I just want to see the end of the ROC process and to be able to concentrate on the N400 in February, then I will definitely get an interview if all goes well.

Thats terrible what you have endured. I think but not 100 percent sure that divorce waivers normally are interviewed.(I may be wrong, as I have not really taken much notice of divorce waivers). I hope you kept those threatening emails as evidence.

The USCIS are not stupid people and will be able to see right through your ex husband and his manipulative ways.

I should imagine you shall hear very shortly looking at your timeline as you are Vermont filer. I am sure you will be ok and will continue to enjoy your life in the USA without this awful man.  Good luck.

It's recommended getting a stamp one month before anniversary of the expiration of your GC. Also looking at the processing times CSC is back to August 2016.

Just one month? I thought 90 days before.

06/05/2018 Received letter in mail, they will do an interview at the same time, date and location of my N-400 interview. "06/21/2018"

06/21/2018 The combo interview (with N-400 interview). But it's still pending until they send me the result of this interview.

06/27/2018 The case was approved, with the N-400 approval.

Yeah normally a month, some field offices like mine say 2 weeks before.  I guess it also depends if you are going away for a long time too. Say if i decided to go to England for 2 months and wasn't due for a stamp until a month later, I could then take my flight itinerary to the office to prove that i needed the stamp earlier.

If youre applying for N400 it will probably be a joint decision, although as I said, I feel that CSC will pick up pace. No idea where they are up too now, but its better than them being stuck on June for 4 months, or was it July?  I don't know but I know they were stuck in one month for months and even went backwards at one point.  Since then the pace has picked up a tad and I expect it to pick up even more.

If CSC carry on at their current speed, it could be years before they get to February filers.

Apply for citizenship as soon as you're eligible.
