My original receipt has TWO numbers. The first one - the one that is actually printed on the extension - does not work. I called the number and the woman told me to give me the other number as well - it worked. 

and +1 on what it says on mine with the 2nd number.

That's a standard message everyone gets it before they are approved. It will only change when they approve your case and mail you the GC.

Mine still says Fees were waived. Do I have to worry?

You don't have to worry, it's a glitch from USCIS end. Many applicants complained about the same thing.

 Forgive me if I've asked already but our extension letter date is February 27th and 3 year GC date is may 22nd. At what point should we need to get a I-551 stamp?

You can get the I-551 stamp one month before your GC expiration or a few weeks before.

Now I'm so anxious about my application. I'm so happy to hear that one of us has been approved! But all this wait is killing me. I went to the USCIS website to check and it's still "my fees were waived" status that I see  

 

So I checked my letter and has any of you guys submitted their application to Laguna Niguel, CA ---- is this the California Service Center?

Yes, that's CSC. Unfortunately, we still have to wait a bit longer to have them process our cases. 

Let's keep the faith, we're all going to be approved and soon this nightmare will be over!
