I have news I want to share with you guys first. Today I went to my mail box about five minutes ago and there was an approval letter dated 20 Feb from the Vermont center/centre.

Maybe they are waiting to send the GCs on St. Patricks day since they are green after all.

03 March 2017: Received biometrics appointment letter dated 25th February 2017. Appointment on 16 March 2017.

16 March 2017: Biometrics completed

08 March 2018: Case (allegedly) transferred to the National Benefits Center (presumably for a combo interview)

04 April 2019: ROC approved (as part of N-400 combo interview)

N-400

18 February 2018: N-400 Application submitted online

21 February 2018: NOA1 Rreceived

23 February 2018: Biometrics appointment letter received. Appointment 13 March 2018. 

27 April 2018: Interview notice received. Interview Date: June 5, 2018. Request to reschedule sent as out of the country at that time.

04 April 2019: Attended interview ... PASSED!

11 April 2019: Oath ceremony

So guys went to Pittsburgh today to get my stamp so I'm good to go for another year, she said come back two weeks before the stamp runs out if they havent processed your case, but that would be 15 months later and if they haven't they will certainly have me hounding them!  

 

So now time to get that state ID card, so I have some form of proper id and a drivers licence.

 

By the way  I mentioned the waiting time for ROC and she said they are dealing with cases from last April,  not sure if she meant Pittsburgh or Vermont/California, guess I am past caring as there is  nothing that I can really do about until next Feb, when I can file concurrently!  

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

 

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

 

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018       

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

 

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Why did you get a stamp now? Your extension letter is still valid right Just curious.

Yes, just before ROC I had my GC stolen in the UK..  I had to pay hundreds of pounds/dollars to get a transportation letter from the American Embassy in London, plus train fare etc..  We then had to pay to file ROC. i went to Pittsburgh just after filing for ROC and was refused the stamp and told I had to pay to replace the stolen card  A card that would be expired by the time I got it, a card that would cancel itself out due to ROC. My husband had to take a day off work for nothing. I broke down in tears at the office.  Any way to cut a long story short, my husband wrote a letter of complaint because other people got there passports stamped without replacing the card and we received a letter to say to come in for the stamp for free.   I must admit they were very nice, they always are at Pittsburgh, although my husband lost another vacation day from work,  as its 2 hours and 20 mins there and 2 hours and 20 mins back.

You read my other post about Feb concurrently?  Well that's the window  for when Naturilisation begins for me and you and whoever filed ROC this Feb if they have filed jointly and are still married.   If you are still waiting for ROC, you can file within the 90 day period  of your expired GC. 3 years from the daite on it, 90 days before, like  ROC for Naturlisation,  You don't have to wait for ROC. So both applications are running concurrently.http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/628210-should-i-apply-n400-while-i751-is-pending/

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/604307-i-751-august-2016-filers/?page=58  There is advice about it from someone on page 68 of August ROC filers 2016.  Basically, if you file for Naturlisation during ROC it should have the knock on effect of adjudicating ROC according to the USCIS information.

 Processing times can give you an idea  of how long it will take till approval. California service center is currently working on June 2016 filers for ROC.
