I have news I want to share with you guys first. Today I went to my mail box about five minutes ago and there was an approval letter dated 20 Feb from the Vermont center/centre.

Hey all!

We sent our packet to VSC 2/13/17 (via FedEx) and it was received in two days. We got NOA dated 2/15/17.

We also got the biometrics appointment letter dated for 3/24/17. However...the biometrics letter was in tatters! (Thanks USPS :angry:) There is no receipt number visible as it's basically two ripped strips of paper. It was mailed to us in a clear plastic USPS pouch that says they messed up our mail, are so sorry for the inconvenience, blah blah blah...  But since we have to bring the letter to the appointment...do you think it will be acceptable? What do you guys recommend?

 

Also, what has people's experience been with early walk-in biometrics appointment for Long Island City in Queens, NY? (Not sure if this is the right discussion forum for this question)

I went for biometrics today Bronx,NY (lucky me before the storm strikes the city). Though I was only going in and out.. like first time..for my surprise I spent 2 hours because the place was crowded today. Also having an 11am appointment where the staff takes lunch breaks bet. 12-1 was not good either. Anyways.. fingerprints/photo done.. Now is really when the waiting time starts....
