I have news I want to share with you guys first. Today I went to my mail box about five minutes ago and there was an approval letter dated 20 Feb from the Vermont center/centre.

Sorry for the delay. I haven't been on the forum much, with business being quite busy this time of year. 

 

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. You have received some great information. I am filing in California, not Vermont so I'm not 100% sure if the letters are the same. Our notices allow us to reschedule by checking a box and mailing that letter back. You can make copies (it's recommended).  I would recommend trying to call them as well, since you likely don't have your letter in hand (and cannot send them that copy back with the box checked). 

 

I received my biometrics fairly quickly, so I would think your letter should be at your residence soon.

Hi there.. 

 

We filed ROC on 2/17/2017 and the package (over 400 pages) arrived the next day (2/18/2017 according to tracking system) at the VSC with return receipt. On Feb 25th, we received the NOA (receipt date: 2/21/2017)  and it said "extended for a period of one year".  The Signed return receipt was received on 2/27. 

 

Question:

How long will it take to receive biometric appointment letter?

03 March 2017: Received biometrics appointment letter dated 25th February 2017. Appointment on 16 March 2017.

16 March 2017: Biometrics completed

08 March 2018: Case (allegedly) transferred to the National Benefits Center (presumably for a combo interview)

04 April 2019: ROC approved (as part of N-400 combo interview)

N-400

18 February 2018: N-400 Application submitted online

21 February 2018: NOA1 Rreceived

23 February 2018: Biometrics appointment letter received. Appointment 13 March 2018. 

27 April 2018: Interview notice received. Interview Date: June 5, 2018. Request to reschedule sent as out of the country at that time.

04 April 2019: Attended interview ... PASSED!

11 April 2019: Oath ceremony

We filed ROC on 2/17/2017 and the package (over 400 pages) arrived the next day (2/18/2017 according to tracking system) at the VSC with return receipt. On Feb 25th, we received the NOA (receipt date: 2/21/2017)  and it said "extended for a period of one year".  The Signed return receipt was received on 2/27. 

 

Question:

How long will it take to receive biometric appointment letter?

 

 

 

VSC takes long time. It will be almost a month tomorrow for me from the NOA date and I still haven't received my biometrics letter. I am calling USCIS tomorrow to see what's going on.

My biometrics appointment notice arrived today. It is for 3/20/2017 in Seattle. I'll let you know how that goes, though I was hoping I didn't have to return there. My AOS biometrics appointment involved a long wait and some unease, I hope this one is better.

We received our NOA1 letter today in the mail dated 03/02 from the VSC!  Very relieved the package made it safe and sound.  Now time to wait for the Biometrics appointment.  I'm guessing we probably won't be due until mid April by the way things are moving on the thread for VSC.
