I wonder if everyone is going to get the office jurisdiction status now. Time to start refreshing. 3 transfer statuses now. Something is happening.

This actually does sound like the local office receiving the case, and given that the transfers started on Feb 26, the timings might be just about right.

Or its a bug LOL

If you look at the dates they are different from everyone else. Case transferred the 28th of Feb, then transferred again March 6th and again March 7th to another office, if this is a bug its a super bug and the USCIS are researching a cure for it.    Next they will be sending everyone a medical RFE for an injection to prevent this bug! LOL

Lets look at the evidence Guys, loads of transfers, on different dates with different outcomes. Approvals for later filers,  Someone's case has been transferred from one office to another office and not to mention one person receiving an email from USCIS saying their case is being reviewed. All happening in the past week or so, not to mention the outages recently. I highly doubt this is a bug, its a very intellectual one if it is.  I do think there have been case transfers with older cases, giving the centres time to sort out newer filers, like the October 17 filer who didnt even have bio-metrics.  Something is going on, half of USCIS officers are saying no transfers, the other half are saying yes there are transfers, no definitive answer.

This isn't the first time cases have been transferred, I think it happened in 2012 (perhaps it was 2014).  Now if they were to tell everyone, which is thousands that their case are transferred its not going to be overnight, as seeing its happening on different dates, perhaps they are focusing firstly on the transfers before sending out a letter?  I personally believe there are transfers going on.  I wish the USCIS would release a statement or something. Any way that's my view on things, however I respect other's opinion on the situation.

I hope that there are many approvals coming to you all shortly! :)

Hi everyone! Long time lurker here... I filed at CSC on Feb 2, 2017. My status too said "Received by local office," first on February 26 and then on March 5. Meanwhile I am trying to make an InfoPass appointment to get a travel stamp. Anyone else having trouble like me? My local office is in Baltimore and sometimes the system just glitches and doesn't return anything, and sometimes I get to the two week appointment window and I can't click on any of the days.

If anyone has any experience to share, please let me know.

All best and good luck to everyone!

Try after mid night or very early in the morning.  They only do two weeks ahead and from what youre saying it sounds like those appointments are already taken. If trying after midnight or very early in the morning doesnt work then refresh every half an hour or try to get an appointment at another field office in close proximity to you.

So I registered an account with this link and found this...

I wouldnt be worried just yet, but would go to the Feb 2018 forum and see what they are saying there.  Good luck!

Interesting that it only showed now and interesting its not March 5th, like the 27 of Feb that changed from that date to March 5th. Perhaps they have only just transferred your file?

Don't mention RFE's for renewal medicals - I was suddenly transported back to the early AOS and 'Notice of Potential Interview Waiver' days. What fun that was too!

CSC filer here. I got an alert saying my case was received by local office as well. I'm wondering how long it usually takes from received to reviewed to decision. I'm about to submit my application in for N-400 and hoping it doesn't delay it... wouldn't mind having the GC for peace of mine (and easier travel) while N-400 is pending for another year.

Sounds like its a field office, Basically telling you they are in the middle of reviewing your case and that you should hear in the next couple of weeks, be it a RFE or an approval.
