Oh now thats an idea, would be wonderful if it is true.  However, does your lawyer have the date of the letter?

Are you a November 2016 or November 2017 filer?

I hope you're right. That would be mass approvals if you're right.

November 2017. And the letter dated feb 28th, my case status still shows case transfer feb 27th

This is very interesting - only 4 months into the process and you are being called to interview.

I think your theory of anyone whose case status still shows received as the late feb date might get an interview.. I am not sure how the March date cases will be impacted. I would love to see an update on that.

Anyways, good luck on your interview.. please keep us posted :)

Oh wow, the day after the transfer.  So in theory if your lawyer has a letter dated the 28th Feb and you havent received it, there could be many interview letters received this week and many approvals.  I guess we will find out in the coming days.  However, even if they transferred thousands of cases, they can't approve them all in a few days, its still going to take time to go through the cases.

This isnt making much sense a Nov 17 filer sent for interview and a July 17 filer approved yesterday. I am wondering if all other cases that have been outstanding for a year or such are the ones transferred and the ones more recent are being approved.  What I mean is they cant transfer all cases to field offices, else its just transferring one huge load, they must split them up some stay at the service centres and some go to the local offices.  So perhaps the centres can now concentrate on approvals or transfers with the later filings?
