Hey have question, I see my status update is they officially received it at the office,

On February 27, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number , at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

i thought they woulda received this  alot sooner, this is good news yes? Anyone know how much longer this normally takes for the next status update?

It means that they have received your case, it also means that hopefully in a couple of weeks they will send you a bio metrics letter and then you wait.  The current processing times have been around 10 to 12 months for Vermont and around 16 months for California. However, that is last years statistics, this year we are hoping that cases are approved at least within half that time. Good luck with your journey!

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Thanks Shell. I am glad we both will be March applicants and I will be following your case too. I am pretty sure USCIS will favor you since you work for them  You have infiltrated the VJ community hhahahaaaaaaa

Sorry there is just no definitive answer of yet.  We are all a bit clueless.  Some immigration officers have advised there has been a transfer, others have said no, so even they don't know. However, we are waiting for the outage that was meant to happen today. Not sure if they meant 6am this morning on 6am Monday morning.  As soon as we find an answer we will be able to advise you a bit better.  For now we wait with baited breath.  I am one of those people by the way who's case was NOT transferred, however a few days before I had received an approval notice in the mail, so that may be why not, or they just don't like me! :)

Thank you so much

that is really confusing, one number says case was received to my local office on one year anniversary after USCIS received my case.

and the other number, which i usually used to track, says case was received.

Plus i cant schedule info pass :( there is never availability :( I am in Atlanta GA

Try after midnight, alternatively very early in the morning, refresh every half an hour so you can pick up any cancellations. Failing that try a different USCIS office near to you.

We actually wont, I filed on Feb 28th, however I am on the border line so will be popping into each month, have to spy for USCIS you know!  They pay me double time at weekends!! LMAO.  Wish I was employed by them, but alas not.  I have to be a citizen to do that and going off current processing times, I should be drawing my pension before that happens, your current processing time is 30 years! LOL.

Account Type

Both USCIS Customers (applicants or petitioners) and Representatives (such as lawyers, charitable groups, or corporations) who want the latest information about their case or multiple cases can create an account. By creating an account, you can:

  • View current case status
  • View case history
  • View the history and next steps for service requests
  • Receive case updates either by email or text message

And just like Case Status Online, all of these services are also available on any mobile device. The only difference between these two account types are Representatives may enter their own internal office tracking information with each receipt number and add more cases to their account.

Definitely applicant/petitioner, the other should say representative.

I just checked my receipt number on the I797 NOA, and apparently my case has been transferred to the local office. I guess I should be happy things are kind of moving along?

Did some other folks here mention that their case was approved without interview after it was moved to the local office? Fingers crossed.

Jaysus, Mary and Joseph! They've updated my 751 again...first was on the 26th and now it says:

On March 4, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC**********, at your local office, yadda yadda.

Please may that be a sign of movement! At this point I don't mind a rfe, an interview or an early morning visit...i just want it to be over.

Anyone else had an update today?

Oops didnt look at your timeline, just saw on Feb 2018 we received your case. I have no idea then, what did it say before this and are you using a different number?  I mean did you use the NOA1 number or Bio number. It sounds like its a glitch if they received it last March, unless they lost it for nearly a year. I would most definitely ring up and query it.
