I-751 February 2017 Filers [merged threads]

Well yeah its true JeanneSs got her file transferred at the same time the rest of you did. She rang up and was told it was approved the next day the card went into production, then I am sure it has been mailed and today she received the approval letter coming from her field office. However, I received my approval letter at weekend, I didnt get transferred, it has an error message, my status has not updated still says case received and my letter came from VSC.  So why would mine come from the service centre (no transfer) and JeanneSs, transfer from the field office, unless something is going on or its just such a HUGE coincidence.

 

I bet they are laughing more this coffee break as there is an outage tonight on USCIS with case status and such!

you and me are similar, first case was transferred to local office on 25 and then changed to 26 and and the 28th card was sending to being produced, but the first number still saying appeal dismissed and the second one card  being produced, so I'm still waiting what gonna happen in the next days.. and congrats again

I have to wonder if perhaps they were celebrating my approval on Saturday and had a few glasses of wine to celebrate for me?  Appeal dismissed when you didnt ask for an appeal.  Have you received your approval letter yet? If so was it from the VSC or your field office?

Hello Everyone I’m August 17 filer and still have not received my biometric appointment. However I checked my receipt number and it also shows it has been received at my local office Feb 26th.

 

I spoke to tier 2 and he just confirmed that. I was at local office [Phoenix] on Feb 27th but they didn’t mention anything about that. I believe they just submitted my case to the local office so they will receive it by next week hopefully. 

I don’t think this is in regard to Interview. However the tier 2 representative said its for interview and its normal procedure. Tier 1 or even 2 most of the time don’t have accurate information.

 

Hopefully i I get my biometric scheduled and approval ASAP.

So your case was transferred to your local office and a tier 2 confirmed it?  However your local office didn't mention it? Did you ask your local office?   Not normal, two cases just been approved by local offices no interview. I just shake my head, some people have been told no transfer, others have had it confirmed and so the plot thickens. I guess there should be clarity tomorrow when they update their systems, it isnt April 1st is it? Its March 1st right?!?

I'm March filer VCS ... no approval letter, the L2 agent told me that when they ordered the card to be produced they do the approval letter at the same time.. so let's see what happen I 'll keep u guys posted

This is what is shows on my status that transfer has happened. Tier 2 also confirmed what is basically written on the status. He didn’t have any more information (they usually don’t have). My local office didn’t mention and I also didn’t ask because I was there to ask for my biometric and possible stamp. They said it’s too early. When I got home I checked my statu in the afternoon I realized there has been an update. I hope they update it by tomorrow as they usually update the system 1st and 15th of every month.

 

i think everything will be cleared by couple weeks from now when all cases physically deliver to the local office.

My green card is coming from Kansas and will be delivered on Monday

Sorry for my late response JeanneSs, I had to look for my missing passport. I put it away and forgot the safe place I put it in. Panic over!!   Any way great news, can't believe its so quick!!  Can you ring them up tomorrow for me and say Hey where is Shells card??? !Roll up, roll up everyone. Well just looked at a post and apparently the glitch with the updated system is still there, cases are still transferred as this goes to press. Perhaps it's not a glitch?  Now there's a thought!!  Lol.  Good night everyone and may your day tomorrow be full of green fairy dust!!

Just called them to confirm your card will be in the mail box on Saturday since ur approval letter came on Saturday😊. Another surprise coming your way🤞
