Any of you been in the March 2017 filers forum.  Apparently there are transfers happening and apparently someone was told that they are transferring to try and alleviate the back log!  Woo hoo!!!

I just learned today ( by checking online with my case number that always give an ERROR ) that my  case was received by my LOCAL OFFICE. hrmmm maybe a sign of good news finally? ANYONE experiencing the same here?

Ive been approved, I checked still says error, but it will as my case was approved at the VSC centre and never got transferred. I know this as that is where my approval letter came from and it was signed by the Vermont director, obviously generic. I don't know who updates the approvals on Feb filers and I do wish I could update my name on it, but I don't know how too. 

 

Getting back to your case, I think it means the cases outstanding got transferred and you shall hear shortly. Some have rang up and been told they are approved, some are getting processing times told them over the phone.

CONGRATS !!! i've been reading many of your posts here and there. You have always been a huge help. So getting approved means they are in the process of PRINTING your card next right?

Thank you!  I am hoping they will print it sooner rather than later, but you know how they are and no update. I looked at my status the night before I received the letter on Saturday and it still says case received, today it says the same and no doubt tomorrow it will. Some people are getting their cards with no up date whatsoever, so they cant keep track of whether that card is on its way or secure. Being me I tweeted on USCIS, hey please can you update your systems when you approve people! Lol. I did, as I believe its a matter of security, even credit cards come in disguised mail and a GC is far more valuable to the wrong person.

Well this is the thing. I was due to apply yesterday, however because I received my letter on Saturday, some people advised me to wait until I receive the physical card and another person has said, why wait, for them to delay your application and not be able to vote. Apparently, you can submit and then upload documents even after submission.  I am so far behind collecting information to submit and we were going to sort paper work out tonight and when I went through documents I realised my passport was not there, now I know I put it in a safe place, however I have forgotten where that safe place is, so we were frantically looking for it, gave up and now another day lost!  Welcome to my chaotic life!   However, right now and I don't know if this will change my field office is quick, probably will be slow now all cases for ROC or being transferred, but that's ok, I just want people to get their ROC.

On a side note we got a Biometrics appointment letter for my wife for March 7th, and also scheduled the Infopass for the same day to get her passport stamped.

Check your USCIS status but not with the bio metric number with the NOA1 number a whole lot of ROC cases were transferred over the weekend.

What does this even mean? Am i getting an interview?

I got the exact same thing today. Nah, i dont think you will be getting an interview notice. fingers crossed that It just means we have to wait for our APPROVAL notices and CARD there after.

As  E Bayan says, don't worry it just means they are trying to get rid of the back log and sending files that are outstanding to local field offices to be adjudicated, probably electronically, well I assume so as it would cost a fortune in mail charges.  It means your local office will now adjudicate your file and that you should hear some news sooner rather than later. It means that things are moving and I have to chuckle to myself as I have said for weeks now that CSC will play catch up and things will start moving!

you are not the only one,  lot of csc and vcs has received this notice I am one of them too...over this weekend they transferred lot of cases to local offices,  finger crossed guys... good luck to all of us.

hi shell20, I believe that they sent it electronically like you said, because they won't paid USPS for all this cases transferred,  and they did it over the weekend mine was transfer to the local office yesterday <sunday>..and by the way Congratulations on your approval.
