Good morning all,  another day, another week and hopefully there will lots of approvals this week. Remember that everyone including CSC are a week closer to adjudication and this week everyone will be a month closer. I LOVE it when I can say that its a month nearer to approval!  Hopefully CSC may start playing catch up, especially when some of their 1-129s were transferred to Texas in Feb and a lawyer told someone on the forum that CSC has employed more staff to deal with applicants.   Obviously good luck to VSC filers too, it seems we are looking at 11 to 13 months with them.

Good luck everyone, may the green force be with you all! :)

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Hello everyone, and congratulations to people who their case has been approved.. I am not very active but I am checking this journey often ...

FYI, I haven't got any news from USCIS and I am getting a little bit nervous. I am going to call them to see what is my situation.

By the way, I am going to apply for N-400, and in the list of documents, I saw about the copy of the green card.  While I don't have my green card, how can apply for citizenship?  Thanks everyone

What is the best number to call the USCIS to follow my case?

Which service center you sent your application? If CSC, then you have to wait a little more since they are backlog.

You can apply normally with a copy of your conditional GC when you become eligible. However, it's advisable to wait until you have the definitive card in hands, unless your case is out of normal processing time.

That is my feeling too, but I saw some people applied for citizenship while their case is still in pending.

Thank you and yes N400 was due yesterday and Ive delayed it because I don't have my physical card, however I have been told that I can submit evidence after submitting the form.  I am sure your approval will be sooner rather than later and I will be looking out for that day in eager anticipation. On Thursday you are a month nearer to it! :)

Hi I remember you.  Just seen your post about being VSC, one of the lucky ones. I have no doubt you will hear very shortly. As for ringing up, I nearly did that last week, I am so curious now wondering if I had would they have told me it was adjudicated last Tuesday?  My status never changed and there was no update or trail for me to know that I might have been approved. Trouble is when you ring the USCIS sometimes the tier 1 officer wont always have direct access to updated information. So they may say no and you may have already been approved.

Everyone I know on here is applying for N-400 as soon as their window opens. Who wants to wait on slow CSC to get their deal together to file for citizenship. The sooner its filed the better. Best to do it asap before Trump changes something else in immigration law.

Thanks Shell. I read your quotes once a while and you are so nice and positive to everyone and everything. I am not sure what to do, but maybe call or wait at the max... hopefully, I hear sth. from them. This process is too long and boring for everyone.

By the way, congratulations to you and have a wonderful time in your son's wedding.

Thank you!  I know how you feel, towards the end of the wait I was feeling exactly the same, I think it becomes a longer wait when you know you're nearly at the finishing post. I don't know why it does, but it becomes like ground hog day checking the mail. It always happens when you least expect it and your focus is on something else as it was with me on Saturday morning.  You will hear very shortly and you can then breath a sigh of relief not having to worry about RFEs or such. Perhaps actually get on with life as a permanent resident and feel a part of belonging and not being in no mans land as I am sure a lot of my fellow vjers feel right now.  Good luck and I shall be rooting for you! :)
