OMG, you get those credit card offers too?  Weird how that happens when USCIS, happen to have news about applying with a credit card, perhaps they are even thinking about bringing their own out. Chu ching, chu ching! LOL

I just reconnected with an old friend whose now an immigration attorney. He said he thinks our ROC will be adjudicated in 30 to 60 days. He says things are going to speed up now that the reason why USCIS has been so slow is because they've been understaffed and now they are or have hired a ton of new people. So hopefully the light at the end of the tunnel is coming. Also hubby got his old job back.

That is interesting, was he saying that as he knows you have now applied for ROC and N400 concurrently, or was he saying everyone's outstanding ROC at CSC will speed up?

He may of meant 30 to 60 days since both are going to run concurrently. He said when you file N-400 it'd like telling them they need to hurry up it puts more pressure on them. I said will citizenship really take 14 to 18 months now? He said no that should speed up too now that they are becoming properly staffed. We are going to send ours through the mail I'm too paranoid about corrupted files. It's put together now and being sent out Monday.

Does anyone have experience with congressional inquiries? If my congressman asks USCIS about my case, does it speed the process up or no?

People want their ROC approved badly for many reasons. Sense of security for some, for others it's less of a hassle then to travel and work since most places are more familiar with a valid GC rather than an extension letter or a stamp. Being in limbo for so long is naturally unsettling.

I have news I want to share with you guys first. Today I went to my mail box about five minutes ago and there was an approval letter dated 20 Feb from the Vermont center/centre.

Thank you!!  We are going out to celebrate tonight. Funnily enough I got this approval with no joint bills, no joint mortgage or such.  I did expect an RFE, so if I didn't get one with such little evidence then there is hope for everyone!!

Congrats She’ll 😊so happy for you. Now I have big hopes to get my approval soon. Lol I’m afraid I’m the only one who haven’t got the approval. But I’m really happy for you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
