Well, they don't have ROC in fact.

Probably not, they just get married and live happily ever after. Now there's a thought!   I don't know the laws of the land, I do know they have tightened them up in recent years and probably more so after Brexit comes into force.  Can't believe my son is getting married though, seems like yesterday he was a babe in arms.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

Congratulations to him and everyone in the family. Life goes by fast. This all immigration process is not fun and take so much time. Hopefully, I would be done successfully this year and be praying for everyone. It will be a big relief to be over with this all process. O Boy I got few grey hair now ^_^

No ROC in the UK? That's awesome! I know that there's no ROC in Canada and I heard that a lot of times they require only one of the spouses to attend the interview. On the other hand they don't have a shorter time requirement when you're married to a citizen and you still have to wait five years.

On this video we can have a peak inside USCIS VT center:

I'd love to see how they organize all those thousands of applications. I wonder where mine would be stored haha

I think it is 10 years in the UK, we are particular apparently! Lol However, to get married, work etc, is a short wait.  I saw that video, I was looking for the big warehouses full of spiders and cobwebs and more spiders and cobwebs.. Wonder what the CSC building looks like, bet they probably have nastier spiders being a warmer climate! :)

Hello everyone! I'm new to VJ and still getting used to the website. I'm an ROC April 2017 filer. I plan on applying for naturalization in April.

Shell20 - I was reading your previous post about your intent to apply for naturalization soon and you said you weren't sure about how many days exactly you've been outside of the country. On CPB website if you enter your passport information they allow you to see the exact dates when you left and return to the US. I started gathering information for my naturalization application so I have it ready when the time comes. On the application they ask you about your travel history. I wasn't sure about mine because not every CBP officer stamps your passport upon your return. With this tool you can actually obtain the exact dates so you don't have to "guess."

Check it out: https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/history-search

The website was meant for nonimmigrants who need to obtain their I-94 number and their travel history but apparently it works for green card holders as well :)

Thanks for sharing I was able to see all my entries even the 5 hour entry to Canada that  they didn’t bother to stamp my passport lol

Yeah there is and Sunday the BIG day, my 1st anniversary with ROC and USCIS, going to send me a anniversary card and flowers?  Only joking, the big day on Sunday is the N400 getting submitted.  I can't contain my excitement.....  Again only joking, probably going to take the whole day to submit and no doubt I will be shouting at my computer screen asking what is wrong with it, when no doubt it will be me (the operator) who is too impatient!

I've been to Canada a few times and they only stamped my passport once. In fact one time the officer at the Canadian border didn't even see my passport, just my GC. I guess each officer has their own discretion or maybe they're not too strict about it if you're crossing the border by land.

Wow thanks for reminding me before I submit the N400, I went for a night to Niagra falls, didn't get my passport stamped and would have totally forgotten about that trip if you hadn't just mentioned Canada.

Probably, but I reckon they have more brown recluse spiders, a bit like our files. :)

Shell20 - Are you planning on filing online or by mail?

If you're going to file online you don't have to wait until you become eligible. You can start working on your application and save it online and actually only submit it when you become eligible. I already started working on mine and I become eligible on April 6. Until then I can tweak it to make sure everything looks fine so on April 6 at 12:01AM I can submit it lol!!! Hopefully we all will have our ROC cases approved.

Im thinking of filing online. My husband and I tried to start the application last week, so we could gather the evidence they required. However, we couldn't seem to get pass the fact that it asked our filing date and kept coming back it is too early to file and I didn't want to say something that was not true. It doesn't make sense though because if we filed through the paperwork version we could start it when we wanted without it blocking us.  In the end we got so frustrated we decided to leave it until Sunday when we are eligible and they can't argue with that, although I am sure they can try.  Good luck with your future application and of course ROC.  I am routing for you, I am routing for everyone, including the people who seem to come across as a bit spiteful. (very few people though).

Thank you. Good luck with yours too. Your naturalization application will probably force USCIS to adjudicate your case and soon you'll see a surprise in the mail. The only surprises I've seen recently in my mailbox are credit card offers and magazines which I never subscribed to. It's been 10.5 months now hahaha we shall pray
