Shell, I’m sorry to see you in agony. Do you have a job? Does something really really irreplecable depend on this ROC you want it this bad? What are the chances you’re gonna be denied? You’re gonna get it, you’re just making your life worse for you, I don’t get it honestly. Just leave it alone and move on, it will be a nice surprise when you get it

Hello everyone! I'm new to VJ and still getting used to the website. I'm an ROC April 2017 filer. I plan on applying for naturalization in April.

Shell20 - I was reading your previous post about your intent to apply for naturalization soon and you said you weren't sure about how many days exactly you've been outside of the country. On CPB website if you enter your passport information they allow you to see the exact dates when you left and return to the US. I started gathering information for my naturalization application so I have it ready when the time comes. On the application they ask you about your travel history. I wasn't sure about mine because not every CBP officer stamps your passport upon your return. With this tool you can actually obtain the exact dates so you don't have to "guess."

Check it out: https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/history-search

The website was meant for nonimmigrants who need to obtain their I-94 number and their travel history but apparently it works for green card holders as well :)

hhaahhaaaaa I laughed aloud. Shell you are one of the reasons we all laugh here and you encourage us.  The poster might be a USCIS employee and didn't like you criticizing the holy institution.

I have no doubt that they do troll the pages here.  I know I would if I worked there, just to get feed back of what people were thinking and if I had a sick sense of humour/humor (which I do). I would sit there laughing my socks off at all the stories being told and share them with my family and friends of how people had to take time off work to go to the field office although I knew I had just approved them and they would find out via snail mail, when I could have just pressed the approval button.   Only joking.... I would like to think I would be compassionate. :)

It's been a long journey. From adjustment of status to removal of conditions to naturalization.

Good thing is we might still be alive to tell the story. I should probably go to the doctor to have my blood pressure checked haha

It is a long journey, I think that's why they call this forum visa journey, perhaps they should change it to Visa Very Long Journey?  Funny thing is my son is marrying a girl from Japan in the UK, he went to book a registry office wedding the other week and has been told it has to firstly go to the Home Office, now I wonder how long that takes? I bet its a quick trip rather than a journey and doubt he will need his blood pressure taken. :)

Hmmm I wonder you might be working for USCIS and they send you over here to cheer up the people hahhaahaaaaaaaaaaa. You might be giving them the feedback of the applicants and how to improve the system. We did saw few changes in the USCIS in past couple of months. You also break some news often. You are the perfect fit hahahahaaaaaaaaaa

If I do I am not doing a good job, other than extending times. LMA0, Or perhaps I do work for them and purposely delaying your applications as I get lonely at work?   Unfortunately, alas I am not a citizen yet, so can't work for them..... I would LOVE, love to see what goes on within those walls, ever wanted to be a fly on the wall?  Best not say that I might come back as one in my next life!! :)

Well, they don't have ROC in fact.
