Hi Shell, I hope you hear something pretty soon. Did you call the helpline? What about your naturalization application? I was looking at it on Tuesday and it is very straightforward. The online N-400 filing is very convenient.  I would be filling in 3 weeks, regards.

No I did not, but I was so close to doing so, as you're right they could have the wrong address on their systems.

My naturalization application is on Sunday although I am completely and utterly unprepared I have not even worked out how many days I have had out of the country. If they asked for how many weeks. no problem. but days is a pain. I am just so disorganised for it, but it needs to be done even if I have to spend all day long concentrating on it.

One good thing and I say its a good thing, although subject to change my field office are apparently on August applicants since Nov 30th, so not many months to wait at the moment, however I don't trust them not to slow down or even go into reverse. I guess I have absolutely ZERO confidence with USCIS and I am still thinking I may get an interview for ROC, a December Vermont filer, received an interview letter in Feb for my field office, talk about adding insult to injury, waited over 14 months to receive an interview letter.  Shake my head again, no wonder I am a dizzy blonde! :(

Submitting N-400 tomorrow. We got everything that's listed. Do we need to include bank statements and bills as well? Our bills are joint but are bank accounts are separate but linked and money is transferred between accounts frequently. I guess I should be looking for the N-400 February filers thread.

Good luck!

The status never changed online and the letter didn't show on informed delivery so it was a great surprise, something to keep in mind for you who have been approved and start getting anxious because it can seem that nothing is happening after. Good  luck to all the rest still waiting, you are next!

Good morning everyone, well soon afternoon!  Well last night I trolled the pages of USCIS and suddenly I had an epiphany, the light bulb went on, a great revelation as to why we have waited SO long. I couldn't believe my eyes, why hadn't I thought of this?  It was pure genius, I was in awe.   So now I can finally reveal why we have waited SO very long. . Are you ready?  https://www.uscis.gov/news/news-releases/uscis-director-l-francis-cissna-new-agency-mission-statement  There we go, they finally have told us why we waited this long!  Oh and they are not a business, but we are customers apparently.  So we the customers...... has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

Any way getting back to the mundane things like us and our long, long journey. I hope you ALL hear some thing this week. I am sending gold dust to each and every one of you today.  Good luck all! :)

P.S Silly me read it wrong, its we are not customers apparently, nope, perhaps its a free service and we didn't know?  We the applicant and petitioners....      They serve the American people, weird I thought my husband was one of those.  Yes, I am assimilating to the USA, using freedom of speech.

The online N-400 form automatically calculates the number of days when you put in your travel dates, and also automatically removes the days of departure and arrival from the number too.

CR1 / DCF (London): 2012 / 2013 (4 months from I-130 petition to visa in hand)

I-751 #1- April 2015 [Denied]

April 2015 : I-751 Joint filing package sent fedex next day 09:00am from UK ($lots - thanks).
Jan 2017: Notification that an interview has been scheduled at a local office. Bizarrely still no RFE...
Jan 2017: 2hr wait, then interview terminated before it began, due to moving my ID to another state 2 wks prior. New interview 'in a few months...maybe.'   Informed them that divorce proceedings are underway, but not finalised at this time.
March 2017: An Interview was scheduled - marked as no-show as they didn't actually send out a notification of interview. FML
April  2017: Filed an official complaint with the ombudsman, and have requested Senator & Congressman assistance
August 2017: Interview - switched to a (finalised) divorce waiver. Told that decision will be made that afternoon, but no problems foreseen with my case.
October 2017: Letter of Denial received - reason given as 'I-751 petition was not properly filed'. Discovered ex-spouse made false allegations to USCIS in 2015. No opportunity given to review & refute allegations  - contrary to USCIS policy.

I-751 #2 - Oct 2017 - Mar 2021[Denied]

October 2017: Within 72hrs of receiving denial notice, a new waiver I-751, divorce decree & $680 cheque, sent to Vermont via FedEx overnight 9am priority.
Dec 2019: Filed FOIA request for full A# file
Feb 2020: FOIA request completed - entire A# file received as a .PDF; 197 pages fully redacted, and 80 partially redacted. Don't waste your time!
March 2021: I-751 #2 denied for lack of evidence. No RFE, no interview, and evidence in previous I-751 not reviewed - contrary to policy. Huge errors in adjudication.

N-400 - Feb 2018 - Apr 2021 [Denied]

February 2018: N-400 filed online.  $725 paid to the USCIS paperwork wastage fund

February  2019: Interview - cancelled after a four hour wait due to 'missing paperwork' on their end. Promised Expedited reschedule.

March 2021: Interview letter received, strangely dated after I-751 denial. No I-751 interview conducted. N-400 interview and test passed, given 'cannot make a decision at this time' paper due to the ongoing I-751 nightmare...

April 2021: N-400 denial received citing recent I-751 denial as basis for ineligibility, even though it should have been a combo interview 🤯

I AM JACK'S COMPLETE LACK OF SURPRISE

Service Motion - March 2021 [Sent via FedEx & COMPLETELY IGNORED by USCIS]

March 2021: Service Motion request sent overnight addressed direectly to field office director, requesting urgent review and re-opening, based on errors in adjudication - citing USCIS policy, AFM and memorandums as basis for errors. This was completely ignored by USCIS.

 I-751 #3 - June 2021 - Jan 2024 [Denied]

IT'S GROUNDHOG DAY

June 2021: I-751 #3 (30+lbs/5000 pages of paperwork) & another $680 sent to USCIS via FedEx ($300+..thanks) ....

June 2021: Receipt issued, card charged, biometrics waived, infopass scheduled for I-551 stamp number ten.....

Feb 2022: RFIE (no, not an RFE, a Request For Initial Evidence) received, for copies of the divorce paperwork that they already have 😑

July 2022: Infopass for I-551 stamp number eleven.....

August 2023: Infopass for I-551 stamp number twelve....

January 2024: Denial received, ignoring the overwhelming majority of the filing, abundance of evidence, and refutation of a provably false allegation. The denial also contradicts itself in multiple places, as if it was written by someone with an IQ <50.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

2024: FML. Seriously. I'm done.

Already subscribed and nowadays I play this game each morning, do I look and get disappointed today or do I wait for the post man/mail man and still there for hours wondering the endless possibilities like I did today, only to get a receipt for my eye appointment, another late birthday card from England and some junk mail from a stupid magazine company.  I guess its time to focus on Sunday and get my paperwork together. Its now a whole year since I sent off for ROC and I guess I am never going to see what the card actually looks like, (new design).  Guess it saves them money, although they state they are not a business.

Really..  Oh wow, I am impressed.  Thank you so much as I asked my husband to calculate (he is an accountant). Now the thing is should I tell him or shouldnt I. I owe him one with the tricks he plays on me.  No I wont tell him, let him get all frustrated and the Italian passion come out for a few mins any way.  That should be SO much fun!!! :)

Just got this email to my inbox, seems they know I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for my GC.    You guys can share if you would like as you all have waited and waited and waited, remember our younger days?

Every year, thousands of healthy seniors are sent to nursing homes against their will...and it’s all because of a simple accident that can happen to anyone.

In just 2 seconds you’re going to see a simple survival tool that stops this #1 cause of nursing home placements and keeps you safe.

Go here to see it now.

The #1 cause of nursing home placements is responsible for more than 40% of all seniors losing their freedom to nursing homes.

This threat is extremely common, and can easily happen to any senior no matter how healthy or careful they are.

The survival tool you’re about to see is important for any senior who wants to keep their freedom and live their life without fear of being forced into a home.

And because this new tool was just released last week, I’m giving you a special early bird deal on it.

For today only, I’m slashing the price on this survival tool and am even throwing in some bonus survival gear for FREE if you get a few for you friends and family.

Go here to get your early bird deal.

P.S. Ask any senior in a nursing home why they live there and you’ll be shocked by how many say it was because of this #1 senior threat. Go here to see the simple tool that stops it.
