Submitting N-400 tomorrow. We got everything that's listed. Do we need to include bank statements and bills as well? Our bills are joint but are bank accounts are separate but linked and money is transferred between accounts frequently. I guess I should be looking for the N-400 February filers thread.

I didn't notice at the time, but the 'Evidence' screen is broken down into evidence you must supply and evidence that is optional to supply. I did supply the optional stuff as follows:

Joint Bank Statement - two from every year, all merged Into one PDF

Tax transcripts - 2014, 2015 & 2016 - separate PDF's

Driving Licenses  - One PDF

Electricity Bills - One bill from every year, in a single PDF

Gas Bills - One bill from every year, in a single PDF

Home insurance - One bill from every year, in a single PDF

Water/Trash Bills - One bill from every year, in a single PDF

Home Ownership Docs - Deeds etc in a single PDF

Car Insurance / Ownership - One from every year in a single PDF

plus all the mandatory stuff, green card, marriage certificate, etc

Good luck - We'll be glad to welcome you to the N-400 Feb 2018 Filers thread!

Good afternoon everyone. Well another day gone and it seems no news coming through from Feb filers. I didn't get an approval in the post today, just a letter from the Dept of transportation to tell me that my state id runs out in May and if I want to renew it I need to bring my USCIS documents for pending or approved applications.   I just shook my head, if I shake it any more in disbelief it might fall off or failing that I could apply for a job as a nodding dog that sits in the back of a car!

Any way I hope I hear some good news from fellow vjers today, every approval gives hope to everyone!  Good luck and may the Green Force be with you! :)

Another day, another empty mailbox.

When I do get the approval letter I will go for a large, all you can eat dinner and get wasted afterwards!

Any better celebration ideas?

I will go out into  the back yard  completely naked, paint myself entirely green, bottle of bubbly in hand whilst a do a little merry jig.   However,  I doubt anyone will notice and if they do they will simply say oh, it's that mad Brit again! :)

It's actually meant to extend the card by a year.   If you need an appointment look at ridiculous hours of the morning, i.e after midnight and very early. Refresh your screen every half an hour in case there is a cancellation. If that doesn't work see if they have appointments in another field office close to you.

Thank you sir.  You are very helpful.  I know the process and how difficult it is to find an infopass appointment in my area.  So, I clicked on another zipcode and found an appointment like 3 and half hour drive from me...  hmmmm,  Will I take this appointment?  You bet I did !!

Also, that is an awful long way too travel. The letter extends the expired GC by a year. Remember that some field offices will give you a stamp a month before expiry, some offices like mine say two weeks before. Would hate to see you travel all that way to be denied. In the mean time if I was you, I would look for appointments at your closest field office after midnight, you can always cancel the one you have. Good luck!

can anybody tell me how long it take to update online status after getting approval letter and receiving card

Im not sure it will update if it didnt when the card was ordered or mailed, although I have known it to say card mailed a couple of days after the card has been received. USCIS are not consistent with their up dates, approvals or anything related to the immigration process.

Hi Shell, I hope you hear something pretty soon. Did you call the helpline? What about your naturalization application? I was looking at it on Tuesday and it is very straightforward. The online N-400 filing is very convenient.  I would be filling in 3 weeks, regards.
