I would hardly call Bush an amateur. And the housing bubble and financial institution collapse did affect a lot of people.

Thankfully, we got a better educated, informed politician who somewhat fixed some major errors from the Bush era, but republicans love to shoot themselves in the foot.

So yeah 4 more years of economic/global turmoil until we vote democrat again and then let them save the day again! 

 

I am quite relaxed. None of the EOs are affecting me. Except the rustic belt.

If Obama was an "amateur" I'm not even sure the proper adjective for Trump. What is a good term for something before an amateur was a twinkle in their mother's eye? Perhaps we have to go further back.

 

Obama was a junior politician sure, but he had a decent "Pedigree" with his career in Law, then State Senator and then US Senator (though admittedly not for long). Trump was a "businessman" and the host of some TV shows. The comparison will always remain a joke.

By all means make excuses for the shooter saying it was self defense, he was just practicing his shooting skills, etc etc. I am fully expecting it.

The radical right and their supporters have more excuses up their sleeves than viable candidates in the senate. But like you said : Making things up as you go along, does not equate to truth.
