Hi,

We are just now submitting our AOS form I-485 (we are doing the two step process and sent the I-130 petition earlier). My question is: can we send in form I-485 without the Medical and Vaccination Record form I-693? And only present it in person during the interview?

Also, does my 7 year old have to complete the I-693?

Thank you for your help.

Note: I am adjusting from a B-2 visitor visa

Yes you can. We did this to avoid the medical expiring in case the AOS took more than a year. You will just get a letter reminding you of it.

I dont know about the child, hoping someone else can clarify that.

I have the same case, except adjusting from F1 visa. I am so nervous because I didn't file the I-693 with the initial packet. Will this cause a delay in my case? Thanks!

Nope. You'll get a reminder notice in the mail eventually that tells you don't forget to bring it with you at the interview.
