Dear VJ members,

I got a offer from my employer, however my AOS is in process and I am yet to receive EAD card. I filed for AOS via K1 route in Mid of December, 2016. Is there anyway I can expedite for EAD process? 

Any advice or help would be grateful.

Thank you 

You can call the USCIS and put in an expedite request based on financial hardship. They will then send you notice to supply proof, at which point you can submit a written job offer from the employer.

Well, tell them when you are able to start...put the date a bit ahead of time, see if they are okay with that and ask them if they could send you a formal job offer per email so that you know you don't have to continue looking. Once you are there you will be signing a contract, but the I-9 that needs to be signed to verify your work eligibility does not have to be filled in and signed until the first day you start. This could buy you some time :)
