Hi All,

Just a general question as I do not really trust Google answers.

How long does it take an unmarried son of a father who has a Green Card to be granted a Green Card.

I am asking because I wanted to see if both of my brothers would be able to come to the U.S. at the same time when my dad files for them as soon as he comes here.

I think one will be under 21 and the other one would be older than 21 by the time dad files for both of them.

Please note that both of them will be unmarried.

Thanks for any clarification folks,

Sammy

Under 21: about 2 years

over 21: about 8 years and must stay unmarried

Thanks for the precise info.

And would the age matter at the time we file or the time the beneficiary has their final interview.

use Google to locate the uscis site and look for which priority you are classified as and then look for the current priority dates.

I would trust google to find good sources more than random people's answers. no offense intended vj
