Executive order

There shouldn't be any changes from President Trumps EO at this moment. Below was the only item I could find related to any executive order/action on USCIS website:

Just to clarify, I'm only referring to folks filing to adjust status and naturalization within the US. Outside the US is a different story based on what I've read.

An article that clearly also is against Trump. They have been crying before in there and honestly is they are crying over a mail like that then maybe they should find another job.

My point was not the crying... lol wow that's what you got out of it? It was the memo that was leaked to them regarding the guidelines that concern USCIS adjudication of pending cases..

I know it just irritated me so look past that part. 

 

I don't trust them saying it's a "leak memo" ... They are not allowed to do anything that does not come from directly order. There have however been a lot of communication issues over all of this that has coursed some people to do wrong things (meaning they have done things like turn some people away that shouldn't have) .... That will be fixed when it all comes in place.

Who was turned away that wasn't intended?

It's your choice to not trust it, it's out there and we'll know soon enough.

According to this page, https://www.cbp.gov/border-security/protecting-nation-foreign-terrorist-entry-united-states. This is concerning Naturalization, 

 

Does the Executive Order apply to those currently being adjudicated for naturalization?

No. USCIS will continue to adjudicate N-400 applications for naturalization and administer the oath of citizenship consistent with prior practices.

 

But what exactly are the prior practices, I heard before the EO was announced that those from the 7 named countries were not being processed.

People already on their way to america like sitting on planes when it was signed was supposed to be okay but some turned away then their was the craziness with those who already have GC at the airports and so on but that's all fine now.

that means it has no effect on their N-400 and their oath of citizenship. It will continue like always.

That is correct. But I believe the basis of that memo resides in the language of the executive order in Section 3.

Well, they were intended to be turned away though. Green card holders are a part of the ban. The white house confirmed this before the emergency stay.

That's what I'm trying to sayI think there have been some miss communication about all this and made some doing the wrong case.

Yes, now they are... That was a later amendment after the emergency stay. Initially they were included. The wording in the EO concerns aliens which are by definition all non-citizens.

 

edit:When the WH was asked about it initially it was, yes GC are included... the initial statements from CBP were the same. They said also in a news conference that they had know for a while and had prepared on how to comply with the order in communication with the administration and that they adjusted accordingly when the emergency stay was issued...
