Traveling Overseas while application is pending?

Timeline

Once you send in the application, can you travel and stay overseas until you get called for fingerprints and interview?  Any restrictions on that?

For ROC? There is no restrictions as long as you have the proper documents to reenter the US like your green card. 

 

There is a risk of you missing the appointment. There was a lady last year who had the exact thing happen to her. The notice for the appointment came in the mail and she missed it. Her ROC was denied and she had to start over.

Yeah He has ROC approved already and is posting in the USC forum.
