Need Military Records

I am currently residing in the US and trying to apply for a VAWA. The company that was helping me stated that as I am currently on a ban I need to obtain military records which show evidence of the abuse I suffered during my marriage. I am struggling to get these. Has anyone had any luck in receiving spouses military records?

Depends which agency you saw or used while with your military spouse.

 

You could try the base MP's; perhaps DEERS has some medical record to show from a doctor visit? The hospital is you went there on post? Depending on how high the abuse claim went, even your spouses company or battalion commander could help guide you in right direction and give a little extra incentive for the people to help get you the records needed.

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview
