k1 visa K1 visa security check delay

Hello everyone
We have applied for k1 visa and got NOA1 and waiting for the approval.
it's been almost 10 months and we didn't get our NOA2. We made an inquiry and got a letter saying that our case is pending because of the security check. What can we do? Any advices ? is there anyone who has the same problem? It's really frustrating already. Thanks beforehand

You didnt apply for a K1 visa. Your USC fiancé has filed a petition. The uscis does not handle visas. The K1 visa application comes later after the petition is approved.  

There are several things the USC can do; do a service report, contact their congressman and/or senator, and write to their ombudsman.

Same thing.We are waiting 338 days already.Contacted senator. They told him pending background check,contact after 90 days. After that time still the same and now they refuse to tell us anything because senator became our representative. So weird

I'm sorry to hear that you're having the same problem and as I see the timing is almost the same as ours

It's really getting unbearabler. On  April it would be a year already and still no luck or news.. We were even thinking to cancel everything and apply again but our attorney doesn't advise that..It's rediculous.. Hope to hear good news from you soon..please keep me posted if possible if any news..thanks for sharing and best of luck
