I'm so, so sorry this is happening to you. We have the same scan date and i was so hoping for good news for us both. They caan keep changing the rules as they go. If they told you it wasnt needed. Did they send an email to inform you. I would keep calling and requesting to speak to a supervisor, and i pray you get one who will understand.

Thank you,

Luckily, one rep admitted that  the document isn't required to be sent to the NVC and the checklist was wrong.

She said the case with a note will be sent to supervisor..

I will call again soon and request to speak to a supervisor, will keep you updated :)

Hopefully someone here will be able to clarify this. Maybe try the case complete group too. Do you have CC yet?

No, no CC yet. Just making predictions haha. My interview is probably going to be in April or May since they finished scheduling interviews in March :(

You are welcome.

Also, just to make a process a little bit faster (probably a day or two); you can gather all the documents (minus the AOS and IV document cover sheets) and depending on how long it took to clear your AOS payment ( ours took 2 business days to clear), you can send the packets right after paying your IV bill. Most probably your packets will reach NVC soon as you complete you DS-260 form.

We didn't do this, but "ny2017" did the exact thing I told you. That was smart.

Oh, ok. We are going to do email processing, so I don't know if that would change anything.

My husband did that and the rep told him that the checklist was wrong...(yayy...!)

and however it was sent to a supervisor review and could take up to 6 weeks :(

When did you get your checklist? We called several times today and the rep told us that the checklist was wrong! (we were right about not sending the  japanese police certificate and it shouldnt be shown as missing document. BUT still, it could take up to 6 weeks, This is really crazy :( Their mistake and we are the ones who need to wait.

Scan date: Dec 22, 2016

Checklist (By NVCs mistake!): Feb 28, 2017

I would not wait for the supervisor review, i would keep calling and requesting to speak with a supervisor. DONT leave this matter to the reps. If a supervisor is not available, keep calling back or request supervisor call back and when you get to speak with them, ask them to review with you on the phone. Be very nice, weve had reports of that happening in the past. for other VJers. Hopefully you get your CC good news really soon!

No it doesn't change anything. It just makes your processing a little faster, probably. I don't have a definite info on speed part.

If you're doing email processing, you can send after completing DS-260 as it would not take any time at all.
