Thanks for the advice! I just got off the phone with NVC rep. I asked to speak to a supervisor but she told me none are available. She said her supervisor told her to put another "supervisor review" flag on my case. Does that mean I have to wait another 6 weeks? o_O"

- scan date: Nov 15

- supervisor review: Jan 10

- review department: Jan 12

- 2nd supervisor review: Feb 22

I doubt you would have to wait another 6 weeks...you should still try to speak to a supervisor directly and let him/her know you've been waiting since November 15.

@IA0217 My case has been in review since Feb/10; I only get the same answer from NVC over and over again that it may take up to 8 weeks from this review request date. They always tell me that it may not take that long, but they can not tell me when my case will be complete. Hang in there, we're close. :)

@Thesmiths2016 I spoke yesterday to a rep in regards to the 'check visa application status', I had told her that it used to say "At NVC" and now it says to submit documents. She said that it's saying this because we have gone beyond the normal review times, and that they have no control over this notification until the case is complete. She did confirm with me that they do in fact have our documents and that it's in the review department. I only hope this means we'll have case complete soon. :)

I just got off the phone with a supervisor. She was super nice and helpful. She told me that she will personally make sure they review and complete my application by the end of this week and told me to check back with them everyday if necessary. She said she has no idea as to why my case has not been completed as of today. Well, im hopefull that this supervisor will actually follow up with my case and makes it happen. Otherwise i feel bad for the next supervisor i get to talk to! Anyway, id like to keep a positive mind and happy thoughts until i have to go there ?. ( the representative also told me that i was the calmest "mad" costumer she has ever talked to) I know we all want to yell at them but trust me it gets you no where. Also, i commented on how great my representative was (i figured an act of kindness could make anyone's day, and she got me on the phone with a supervisor within 5 minutes) so i completed my deed for today.

Good luck to all of you and hopefully we all get to see our loved ones very soon!!! Blessings.

Yay I'm so glad your phone call seems to have made an impact. And I agree with being nice and calm... I worked in a job where we were overworked and understaffed, and it wasn't our fault, but we did what we could with our limited resources. I suspect the same is true for them, so it's the system not the individuals at fault.  They're just doing their job, and I like to think if I'm nice to them they will help if its within their power to do so.  Being angry and cruel to them will just reflect badly on my application, and potentially add to an already horrible day for them.

You aren't crazy. I'm also getting the same response. I'm 10 weeks yesterday since scan date. I only call on Tuesdays and Thursdays and just check the website for the 3 N/As all other times.

I just try to stay positive knowing that other people who got their files scanned a week before mine are getting CC'd.

I like your system. Calling them twice a week is good, much better than calling multiple times a day.  I fear calling too much will just tie up the reps on phone calls when they could be busy checking our cases.  I know what its like ... I was in a job where every time I was in the middle of doing paperwork and my phone rang I would get frustrated, lose my concentration, and have to refocus when I got off the phone. My admin tasks took much longer.  I hope that by not calling so much it gives them more time to process our applications. Every little bit helps.

Yes, I did do email processing. I guess that explains it?

I moved countries and changed case numbers and embassies.  After this I realised my original embassy does EP.  Now I'm kinda wishing I kept it in Australia and flew back there from New Zealand for my interview.... I would have been approved and interviewed by now :-(

It usually take 2-3 weeks for it to be transferred to NVC and then can take up to 10 days to receive a case #. For me I got my case # after 7 days of our case arriving to NVC. Congrats on your petition being approved and I wish for you a speedy process at NVC :)

Approved petitions are currently taking about 2 weeks to be sent to NVC, then about another week after being sent to be received at NVC. Case number is generally available a week after case received, so 1 month from petition approval to NVC case number being assigned. I was approved just last Friday and am expecting my case number to be available mid-March.

Guys, please I'm a little confused.

I've been trying to call NVC since 2 weeks ago, but to no avail.

Then just this morning I received a mail, it says my all my documents has been reviewed.

The only missing item is the divorce papers for my husband with his former wife and it was stated to bring to the interview and not send any  documents to NVC anymore.

What does this mean please?

Does it mean my case is closed?

Cos I can't find the famous 3 N/A's , I can't see any boldy written case complete and I can't see any interview date.

Can anyone suggest what I should do now?

WOW! WOW! WOW!  Just called NVC they confirmed my case was complete tomorrow! I'm employment based so no way to check by 3 N/A's and I was calling everyday as the only way to do this.

The representative was happy for me and we both laughed :-) It's a huge huge relief!   I've asked several things, they might be useful for everybody with latest CC's:

- March interviews are closed for now, of course something is still possible if the embassy has free slots but April is our main expectation

- They do not know when the scheduling will start yet

Now waiting for the case complete confirmation e-mail, should be somewhere next week...

- Scan Date 12/06

- Supervisor Review (after my call) 01/18

- Sent to Review Department 01/19

- Case Complete 02/22

So they are now heavily processing first decade of December Scan Dates!

Thanks everybody here for your support and hopes! I hope all of you will get CC's as soon as possible and those who wait from October, November, December even sooner to catch April interviews!!!

P.S. By the way, how much days it now takes NVC to send CC e-mail based on latest data? Anybody who got CC in February received in 4-5 business days or earlier/later?
