Yea I got through after 45 mins as well... basically no information, and just the same freaking line "Its in the correct dept now" over and over.... I am beyond frustrated.   Even asking for an ETA, and why they keep missing the deadlines, they refuse to answer.  It still has a 2 week ETA online...

"Once received, it will take the NVC 2 to 4 weeks to review your case. If any additional information is required after the review, the NVC will notify the applicant (or the applicant’s agent)."

I just called NVC, to ask for clarification on supervisor review. We now have to wait _eight_ weeks before requesting supervisor review. Not six weeks. I don't know if that means they also have eight weeks to complete that review, or if it's still six weeks... but yeah. Lame. Lame lame lame.

Wow !! I was kinda wondering that . Our six weeks will be on March 1st and I kinda knew that was going to happen. Thats just so sad ! I am so angry. We started this process March 2016 . Our PD was March 29th. Scan date is January 18th. I don't even know what to do at this point.

Yeah my scan date is Jan 19 - I am going to work remotely for six weeks so I can see my wife and kids. I had hoped that by the time that was up, we'd have an idea of when it would be done... but I'm losing hope on that one.

Someone wrote on the other thread they are done scheduling March interviews. I can only pray for April now. They need to start working OT and weekends . How are they okay with this ? I don't understand.

Any case completes today ? My cousin's scan date is December 9th and she is still waiting.

Always cheery to see CCs, at least we know they're working. so fingers crossed. i just the same generic response to my weekly email enquiry today.

Everyone handles things differently, but if I were you I would try to expect case complete sometime in the end of March (March 29th, ~10 weeks from your scan date). That would mean you would likely get a May interview date.

If it happens sooner that is wonderful, but it may help to just plan ahead for what is expected based on the last few months. I hope they speed it up, but as you point out there are people in early December still waiting (My CC only came last week and I was November 28th). If they are really going in order, and early December is still waiting, then Mid-January will likely be more than a month+ away from now. YOu can hope for better, but plan for that so it doesn't disappoint you too much.

Sorry :(

Also I'm pretty sure it was my post about March interviews ending. I was told that this morning. They didn't specify whether that was for just London (where my wife will interview) or generally, but likely generally.

I received both those emails once I'd paid fees and had started my DS-260, but had not completed it yet or send our IV or AOS packages.  I think it might be an automatic email that the system sends for "in progress" applications perhaps?  I guess not everyone is as thorough with their research like we all are, and they don't read the instructions on the website, so this would "prompt" them to perhaps?

Thanks, TheSmiths2016 that's interesting... and it makes me giggle, thinking that they would try to help or prompt us.

Could it have been a coincidence that I received the email right after I had sent the IV and AOS package? (mailed Friday, email received Monday, a holiday)...  and that it wasn't in response to their receiving the package??

Also, we finished the online application in January, so it wasn't like they were giving us the next step immediately afterwards... hmm...

Anyone else hear about this kind of vague email (posted on the previous page)?

October 2011: Met in Spain

2012-2014: Video chat + visas + visits and vacations = we made it through!

June 2014: Moved to Spain, got engaged

December 31, 2015: got married

April 20, 2016: sent I130 package

May 2, 2016: package received in Chicago Lockbox - - - 12 days for delivery!! Don't use TNT couriers!!

May 2nd or 5th, 2016: email NOA1... accepted and sent to.... NEBRASKA

And now.... breeeeeeathe..... be like water my friend....

October 26th, 2016: NOA2 [We had waited almost 6 months. Received notification from the phone app, never got an email.]

November 9th 2016: USCIS sent the petition to NVC (app notification) [waited 2 weeks after approval for this]

November 25th 2016: NVC received and created account for our petition [waited 16 days after USCIS sent it, for NVC to acknowledge receipt]

Dec 1st 2016: Chose agent online DS261 [a few days later than it could've been since the above NVC email went to SPAM!]

Dec 6th 2016: Case available for paying fees. That was fast, I think! 5 days!

Took a long time to get package out because... life... and husband's family in Morocco had to travel to get police document.

Feb 20th 2017: Scan date at NVC, received weird email.

April 28th 2017: CHECKLIST. Moroccans are required to send a Court Report regardless of Police Record status. My husband had to go back to Morocco to get it in person. Also, NVC wants a 2016 tax return now that is 2017. My bad.

September 15th 2017: 2nd Scan Date at NVC. Sent for document review October 20th.

Nov 10th 2017: Email requesting document be brought to interview. Will schedule interview.

Case complete date??: TBD :clock:.... November 8th!!

Interview date : January 18, 2018!!           Result: Administrative Processing

Embassy called for new medical last week of August. New Medical Sept 10.

Visa ISSUED September 14, 2018.
