I am a USC filing for my stepson I'm preparing to send AOS and IV packages the documents I have are

AOS:

• My proof of U.S status

• My signed form I-864

• My financial docs

• Joint sponsor's proof of U.S status

• Joint sponsor's signed I-864

• Joint sponsor's financial docs.

IV:

• Copy of beneficiary's birth certificate

• Copy beneficiary's passport

• Copy of beneficiary's police certificate

• Copy of my marriage certificate with his dad

Thats pretty much all there is right? Is there any more required documentation?

Which document did you include under "proff of U.S status`- copy of your birth certificate and/or copy of your passport?

I am not able to complete my  IV fee payment as it states "database error" when I try to log in. I already paid the AOS fee and everything went fine then a few days ago. Did this happen to anyone else? What does "database error" mean - is it my particular case or an issue at NVC?

I'm also facing the same issue since yesterday. NVC says it will become available in a day or two.

I saw in a VJ forum that that section is not a requirement, it's optional. But civil docs are birth certificates, passports, marriage certificates, etc.

Hi! Just got off the phone with a rep. and asked about it...she said and I quote "it just means we have not yet reviewed your case" So frustrated! She told me to call back on Wednesday of next week if my case was not completed by the end of business day Tuesday as I would be at the 12 weeks. I asked what happens then and she said "we would take a closer look at your case" I then said but you just said you haven't even looked at my case and to this she replied "mam we have until Tuesday the 22nd if you don't hear from us please give us a call back have a good evening" and she hung up ?!

SCAN DATE 12/6/16

SUPERVISOR REVIEW: 1/17/17

That's crazy. I've been told like 3 different things about my case. They once said it was being reviewed, then that it wasn't being reviewed, then again that it was being reviewed. My husband tried to call yesterday from the morning till the evening but never got through.

So I guess "action required" is the new "at NVC" huh? ?

Does anyone know if it's a really big deal that my husband forgot to include the cover page with my name on it in the package? We just realized that there were 2 cover pages and we only included the checklist one ? I saw that some people got a CC even if they didn't include the checklist one but I don't know about the other one.

This is in response to RFE from NVC?  If so, it is really important to include the barcode cover sheet.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents
