Hi Ahmed & Amy! I was going to message you but I figured maybe other members can benefit from this question as well. I noticed in your timeline that it says Supervisor Request and Review Department separately. Are these two separate departments, or did your supervisor request just take 5 days to get inputted into their system? Thank you!

I wrote them separately because these are the dates that were given to me. When I called NVC when my 6 weeks had passed, that was on Feb-10, the rep said he would make a supervisor review request, but told me that it was just a request to the mail room, to have my documents sent to the review department. When I called back yesterday I was told twice by two different reps, at two different parts of the day (am and pm) that my documents were sent to the review department on Feb-15; Which is why I thought to write them separately. Often times people ask about scan dates, supervisor review requests, and the infamous 'review' department.

Just landed in Houston. While waiting in line at immigration (takes longer to enter the US as a citizen than it does to enter UK as a visitor) I loaded up the website on my phone.

3 N/A's :)

Will try to sit on hold using Bluetooth in my car to confirm. Must have happened en route back since I checked before I left.

Scan date 11/28

WOO!  Congrats! :D

Scan date: around Dec 13th 2016 - I didn't get an email about it.

We called in late January and they said that they received our package. They also said that the 6 weeks ended on February 8th.

We called on February 8th and a lady said that we were over the 6 week period and apologized. She forwarded our case to a supervisor and said we should receive an answer in the next couple of days. Haven't heard from them. CEAC says at NVC, only 2 N/A still.

On February 11th I received an answer to an email that I sent ages ago where I asked about our flipping visa status. Their answer was "The correspondence submitted is currently under review. An appropriate action will be taken once this review is completed."

Called back yesterday (February 15th) and a lady said that our case hasn't been reviewed, please allow another week. My husband asked "what happens if I call back in a week and there is still nothing new?" She said " I'm sorry but that's a possibility"

Anyone in my same situation? What's going on?

We call them every day, and every day they have a different answer. It's really hard to stay positive

I'm happy that a lot of you are having their cases completed though.

I'm not in the same situation as you, but I can confirm that the delayed replies to emails is "normal" right now.  I sent two emails to them and rather than the usual 3-5 days it took just over 2 weeks.

Thank you so much for this!

I just got off the phone with the NVC (first call, rang and answered right away!) and I was told that our file has been in the mailroom still from the time it got flagged for supervisor review on the 8th. I asked if there was a way to have our file pulled out of the mailroom and sent to the review department but unfortunately he said there is nothing that anybody could do other than what is being currently done (I didn't press further but I was definitely tempted to ask what they are actually currently doing exactly lol).

I was wondering if there was anything you said to the staff when you called that made them pull out your file from the mailroom? I plan to call again at the end of the day and ask about this but if there's any information you can provide about what I should tell them I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you so much!

Called and confirmed confirmed case complete :)

The lady said they are still doing March interviews. Have other people heard that? She said she assigned 8 yesterday. Couldn't speak specifically regarding embassies.

I called this morning to find out that my case was pulled from the mail room to the review department on 14 Feb 17.  I am happy to have progress.  The representative was friendly but would not give me a an estimate of when my case would be looked at.

She said she couldn't speak specifically to my case, but she had seen 8 scheduled for March interviews yesterday. I asked specifically about London but she didn't know.

You're welcomed.

No I didn't say anything out od the ordinary, they just said that our file was no longer in the mail room and that it was sent to review department. The only thing I ever requested was the initial 'supervisor review request' as our case had gone past 6 weeks. Who know if what they say is truthful. But I am trying to stay optimistic that we'll get CC soon. :) Call again and see if you can get any more info. Wish you luck and a speedy process. :)

We are kinda close. Called NVC as soon as our 6 week period ended (that's what I thought). They told me my 6 week period was going to end on Feb 8th. I didn't receive a scan date but they did tell me that they received my package. I did my math and our scan date should have been on Dec 13th on the base of what they said. I then called them again on Feb 8th since nothing new happened and I have been told that we were way past our 6 week period and the lady apologized (Now I'm even more confuse on what our scan date actually was) She said she was going to send my case to a supervisor but I'm still waiting.

That is crazy quick! I imagine you have'nt even gotten an email about case complete yet right?

It's amazing how much quicker you find out information by calling. If they wanted to reduce the number of calls they get they should really improve their email contact system. The computer system should be able to automatically send an email out informing us of a case complete as soon as the computer updates it. Why should that take a few days? Surely someone isn't manually sending the emails (but likely that is the case).

Nevermind...my husband called and they said our scan date is Dec 28th. A supervisor took our case on Feb 8th and it's been with there since then. Let's hope this will be done soon.
