Really it all depend on the next 1-2 weeks. Who gets approval before February 10-15 have nice chance for March interview as they will be probably still scheduling.

We got approved 1/11 and didn't get scheduled for February, although when I called the NVC to confirm case completion, the rep told me that we most likely will be schedualed for February ...and we didn't, now we're  waiting for a march interview date.

It really depends on the embassy, how many slots they have.

Keep in mind scheduling interviews is entirely up to the individual embassies, unlike the NVC. THe NVC will complete your case, but then they are at the mercy of what is available at the embassy. Some embassies have more availability than others. So while for some March may be realistic, for others it may be later just based on your location.

EDIT: Alex beat me to it.

Thanks for your update! I have the same scan date and next day supervisor review :)

So it was the representative who promised you your case will be CC till February 14?

We should should should get this sooner to have chances for March interview.

@AlexUA they make fake promises because i have been calling them since January 10 and they all told me "you will here back by January 31st and if not call back on February 1st for supervisor review but most likely you wouldn't have to go through this process" today is February 1st and i didn't hear back from them yet. I don't even see 3 N/As . My scane date is Dec.20.

So i guess just keep pushing them that's what i am gona do?.

Most of us here waited longer, waiting is very hard, and patience is a virtue :)

I think it is incredibly unprofessional for them to be overly positive to people.

The average time to CC right now seems to be 8-10 weeks. To say they expect you to be done in 6 is unfair to you. It sets unrealistic expectations.

I'm in my 10th week... and I have a feeling I'll get to 12.  They claim it takes up to 6 weeks to review it... at which point it goes into supervisor review and that can take "up to 6 weeks".  With getting close to the end of those as well, I asked what happens after those 6 weeks of supervisor review are up?  Got 2 different answers, one guy saying he's never seen one go for that long, another saying they go into supervisor review again for up to 6 weeks but that they get complete fairly quick.

Yeah, let me hold my breath.

I'm wondering if writing to the White House would help... Trump seems to be in a house-cleaning mood anyway.

Do they tell you it's in the "review department"? That's what they are telling me now.

I also asked them straight up "Why are some people with dates after mine getting completed?". They stumbled and didn't answer. It got awkward.

Not been around here much lately due to problems with the internet connection in our new place (frustrating but nothing like the frustration of dealing with the immigration process!). It seems that the interview appointments have not been set for March yet. Very unusual. Back in October I got case complete on the 20th and my interview appointment was allocated on the 27th and it was common for scheduling to begin in the last week of the month. I remember Jamaica and Ghana embassies being some of the first to start scheduling. Anyone here at those embassies?

Im wondering if it has something to do with the recent executive orders halting immigration from certain countries and whether NVC are holding back with the scheduling whilst they double-check the applicants to see if any of them have dual-citizenship

with one of the listed countries before they start the mass scheduling of interviews? Or maybe the embassies are not releasing dates yet because they need to update procedures for visa issuance? I have to say the whole thing is very confusing and even the US embassy in London has released 2 conflicting statements. The speed with which this all happened - it is no wonder that all the embassy and NVC staff are confused.

My interview will be at the US embassy in Jamaica. My case was completed 1/12 and I still haven't been assigned an interview.

Will be calling NVC sometime today.

Yeah, since Jan 11th or so... Good question to ask... I'll have to remember to do it.

Wait, so has every single person on this thread had to do supervisor review? Do we know what percentage overall have had to go to supervisor review? What are the non-supervisor people doing then?

I would guess that at least 99% have gone to "supervisor review"..The ONLY exception I can remember might be one or two from Philippines.

Supervisor review doesn't actually mean a supervisor will review it. It means they notify the supervisor of the proper department that the case is waiting still.

So if everyone is going long it really does nothing. All the goals are arbitrary. What would happen over 12 weeks? Honestly probably the same thing that goes on before. More waiting.
