Civil Documents: N/A

Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence: N/A

Affidavit of Support Fee: PAID  (and this changes to N/A when your case is complete)

This is what it looks like when it's not complete.  It's my understanding that the "PAID" changes to another N/A when the case does complete... Hope this helps!

Thanks all for the support and encouragement - I'm moving into the Case Complete to Interview - March 2017 forum.   I'll check from time to time but won't be monitoring this daily.

Good luck to all - I hope that you can be with your loved ones soon.

I just spoke to NVC, while the wait time to get someone to answer the phone was 35 minutes, i didn't get any busy signal so that's good.  The person I spoke to was very friendly and clear in his replies. Unfortunately none of his replies were "oh wait, let me just approve that for you now" lol.

I confirmed my scan date (I hadn't spoken to them until now to confirm it all arrived ok).  I didn't find out anything mind-blowing, I did however find out that if you're approved for expedite like me with the following wording "The U.S. Embassy or Consulate is willing to expedite this case when we have all the fees, forms, and documents"  then it still goes through normal processing times at the NVC, and once it's sent to the consulate they will expedite my interview date.  I also asked if I should do my medical now to be prepared for that, and he told me no, definitely not, as my embassy needs to send me or advise me of the right paperwork at the time.  I shouldn't do my medical until the embassy contacts me.

Oh well, no big surprises but at least I know for sure.  AND I'm happy that my package took only 4 working days from New Zealand to get to them.  Scan date 31st January.

Got married: 26th Sep 2013

I-130 Petition Process:

NOA2: 3rd Aug 2016

Case number assigned: 8th Sep 2016

DS-260 submitted: 25th Jan 2017

AOS & IV Package sent: 25th Jan 2017

Expedite requested: 25th Jan 2017

Expedite approved (consulate only): 1st Feb 2017

Scan Date: 31st Jan 2017

Case Complete: 14th April 2017 (10 weeks 4 days)

Full expedite approved (bypass NVC to send file to embassy), however too late as I already had case complete 17th Apr 2017

Case arrived at Embassy: 21st April 2017

P4 letter received: 26th April 2017 (expedite at embassy stage so this came from the consulate, not NVC)

Medical date: 26th April 2017

Just got off the phone with NVC... Wait time was 38 minuets. Rep was super nice. He told me that he will put our case in supervisor review and said hopefully it will get completed faster this 'go-around'.

Good luck!  I would call back on Monday just to make sure it was put on supervisor review.  I always confirm (sometimes 3X) to ensure the information is correct.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents
