We had 15 days waiting for the check being cashed and email. Don't worry.

Today we got 3 NOA1, for the Green Card, EAD and AP with the date received February 1st

Hi everyone it's my first time to post here ..?I just wanted to ask how long I will recieved NOA 1 for my AOS  they recieved it last Feb 10,2017 but I didn't hear anything yet..

ours took less than a week so i think it varies case by case. Did your check got cashed? Take a look at your bank account. Once it's cashed they usually send the NOA1 right after.

Just got biometrics appointment notice in the mail today. Date set for 2/27/17.

Ours got there on the same day and we haven't heard anything either. We sent a money order not a check so we won't be able to tell if it's been cashed.

we got our NOA1 hardcopies yesterday but just one problem. My birth date on the NOA1 fro work authorization is wrong but its fine we will just call Tuesday. Just a little change to make.

 

Its weird bcoz my the AP and AOS had the correct birth date. Anyway, its al good. Now we are just waiting on our biometric letter/appointment.

Our NOA took 21 days by  text and 29 by mail and also sent money orders, be patient

May I ask you where you got the money order from?

We got them at the Post Office

"you can try the post office inquiry line or use the Money Order Inquiry System, and see if the item “does not match.” However, the information you get might not be reliable (because the system was not designed to do what you’re trying to do). The only way to know for sure is to use Form 6401"

Form 6401 takes at least 30 days so it's not worth it. Maybe you're lucky with the advise above.

Hi everyone,

Sent in AOS on February 10th, so still early. Hopefully we get the NOA enotification soon. Sent the AOS with money orders, so won't really know when it gets cashed. Seems like it would take almost 1-2 weeks to get the notification. Good luck to everyone and hope for quick processing.

Hi everyone. So our packet was delivered on the 10th, and everyone says a way to tell when your e-notification is coming is to check if the check was cashed. I just checked the status of our money order online, and it says no data can be found. Very concerning. Does anyone know who to contact to see if they actually have our packet in Chicago? We are worried now.

Just wait until Wednesday and then maybe try to call USCIS.  I know it's always bad if you don't hear from back but just give it a little more time :))

Hello everyone!!

I guess this is going to be the beginning. We filed AOS, EAD, AP and sent it February 17, 2017.

I have a question, when we put our packet together I attached a check to both the I-485 and the I-130. But I read that I only need to attached just one check for the I-485, which way is the correct way since I am coming from an F-1 visa?
