Biometrics in Connecticut today were SUPER fast and easy. Arrived ten minutes before the appointment time and we were out before the original appointment time. They gave us the NOA back with a red stamp on it with the date. Just checked online and my RFIE was received today and our case is all back on track. I also can now see online that all of our other documents were received.. now it's truly a waiting game!

I received a job offer today with a start date for early-mid June as they know I am still waiting on my EAD. My NOA1 was 21st Feb so hopefully the EAD will be with me by mid-May and no need to expedite as I spoke to my local Congressman's office and they said they could not expedite for me, despite conflicting reports from my infopass meeting!

Hello guys I'm a little bit confused with my wife, my tracking numbers for my cases weren't working until this morning, I 765 and I 130 were but the I 485 wasn't so I called the 800 number and gave them my case number for I 485 and the lady told me that she didn't see anything wrong with my case in fact my case was ready for an interview I just couldn't believe it so I politely asked her to check the number again and yes it was my case number and went to my app and check my case number and yeah.. my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview, is this normal (standard) procedure or does it usually take longer to get to this point?

It happens, some people get lucky. There was another person in the Feb Forum who already has an interview scheduled too.

Congrats! But keep in mind that it could take a bit of time before they actually schedule the interview. Some people (I've seen people in the September thread) still waiting with the "Case is Ready to be Scheduled for Interview" notification. At least now you can't receive a RFE, so that is great news.

I sent the 2016 tax return only with the affidavit but my joint sponsor sent the affidavit plus 2014, 2015, 2016 tax returns

I really don't think you will. I've never seen anyone get RFE after their case is ready for an interview. They've looked over your case and obviously think it's ready for an interview/everything is fine as far as evidence goes. They'll send you a list of documents to bring with you for the interview, but those aren't anything to do with RFE. Good luck and hopefully they will schedule your interview soon!
