They told my husband that they will mail him the copy that the biometrics was completed.

That should be fine, just as long as there is proof you've done it. I don't hear of a lot of issues with the biometrics part of the process but it says on the notice if you don't show up to your appointment it's considered abandonment. So as long as you're getting a notice back, that way if they try to claim you didn't show up you have proof.

However, I am sure everything is fine with your case and they are just slow updating. :)

You know that you can call USPS because you've been waiting more than 30 days. I would call them and ask. Maybe your case is already in process...

I guess I could try that, but my check hasn't been cashed either and I attached the electronic notification form to our petition so I assumed I would have seen either of those things.

I know that there's the backlog but even I have received my NOA1s. I took USCIS 3 weeks to get back to me but you've been waiting 6 weeks now.

What you could also do is to call USPS or UPS and ask why they haven't delivered your package. I would rather give them a call first before you call USCIS.

Called USPS just now, lady seemed very familiar with the USCIS and the amount of mail they receive. She said they are experiencing a backlog and they most likely got my petition but didn't scan it.

So really I guess my best option at this point is to continue with the infopass appointment in person.

Thank you for your help!

I would call USPS as soon as possible if it's showing as not delivered. In August last year my Father in Law sent my I-129F petition 2 day shipping via USPS for my fiancé. After only four days I started questioning why it wasn't delivered. I called continuously and failed to get a human 90% of the time, it was always automated recordings. When I finally did get a person I was transferred and spent almost 7 hours back and forth with them. My FIL sent me a photo of the package and of the tracking after he sent it, so I knew where it was addressed to, however USPS told me that it was currently in Texas but the address I sent it to doesn't exist. It sat in a sorting facility for a couple days because they didn't know where to deliver it to, apparently they were incapable of reading what was wrote on it. If I hadn't called they told me it was going to be thrown out, even though it was insured and had a return address, the lady said it would be easier for me to resend it as opposed to them returning it. I was furious enough that they "double checked" the delivery address and attempted delivery the next day, which was a Saturday, it was delivered the next business day. It was just a huge headache. But I learned that USPS isn't the best and doesn't always have good customer service. So it may not be USCIS at all. Definitely call USPS if they haven't updated the tracking.

as far as I know, you're allowed in with electronics, as long as they're turned off.
