At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information.

I filed in January 2017, but it seems that that thread doesn’t exist anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m also from Dallas, and it appears the same message as you, I don’t know why, but when I called the USCIS contact center and it says the same as before that message, I’m ready to be scheduled for an interview. Have you called?

I'm also from Dallas. I'm "ready to be interviewed" since April 2017... one year later I'm still  here waiting..

If you choose the option that it says you don’t know your number case, a person take your call. I entered my case number tho, ‘cause I’ve tried with a person before and they say the same as the machine 🙄

I was ready for an interview since February 2017, and until yesterday, nothing had changed, but luckily yesterday I got the message that there was an update to my case, whether my case has been scheduled for an interview or is in the line to be scheduled for an interview, (I hope is the first one 🤞🏼) I have to wait until the letter come by mail (stalking the mail since yesterday 👀)

I hope yours change soon!!

Hello everyone! for everyone that are still waiting like me..

Bad news: According to the new processing times, they are 1-2 yrs behind for the pending I-485. We've been to the USCIS office twice last month for emergency reasons. It is impossible to get an infopass appointment. They always say to check appointments on their website between 12am to 5am..I did that but still there's nothing so I went there and told them its emergency.

Anyways, what sucks is that we have been back and forth the USCIS and the DPS/DMV because of the drivers license. EAD is already expired on 05/07, we filed renewal back in February but they said THEY ARE ALSO BEHiND for the renewals of EAD. the renewal will only give us another 180 days. They should extend the EAD expiration dates since they are 1-2 yrs behind our I-485 right? but no they aren't! and i am not sure if its still free to renew EAD for the second time. and everytime the EAD expires we have to pay DPS/DMV to renew drivers license which is frustrating!

Anyways, if your drivers license is expired and your EAD renewal is still in process..You can go to DPS and tell them about the SAVE PROGRAM. They will give you a case number that you will need to bring to USCIS office so they could Verify it and then go back to DPS/DMV and they will renew your drivers license.

we got an emergency appointment: by bringing a letter from employer that i will lose my job if my drivers license and ead expires.

Just showing the NOA (of the EAD renewal) alone wont be accepted by DPS?

they will. but they will still give you a case number, written on a paper. then you need to wait 3-5 days for the case number to be ready. there's a number on the paper that you can call and ask if the case number is ready for USCIS to verify. Once its ready, you need to take it to the USCIS office and have them verify it. After they verify it, you need to go back to DPS then they will renew your drivers license. they will give you another 1 year.

i am not sure though if you can just call USCIS to verify it. You can try calling them first before going to USCIS office.
