Well, it's over a year now.  Just received this message in response to a service request put in 5 months ago.  I'm not sure I would personally qualify this as "issue resolved," but ok I guess I'll set myself a calendar reminder for 120 days. . . .

Thank you for contacting USCIS concerning your I-485 application. Below is a summary of what we have found and how the issue has been resolved or additional actions required.

What We Have Done

USCIS has reviewed your Service Request. According to USCIS records, your application is still pending. At this time, we anticipate you should receive a decision or other notice from USCIS within 120 days of this notice. Please be advised that posted processing times are goals based on Field Office averages. These goals are subject to change and can vary from office to office. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by delays in processing.

What You Can Do

If you do not receive a decision or other notice from USCIS by the time specified above, please contact the National Customer Service Center at the phone number below.

In the interim, please remember to renew your employment authorization documents and travel documents within 3-4 months of the expiration date.

USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration applications in a timely manner, efficiently and in the order received. We hope this information is helpful. If we may be of further assistance, please let us know.

Hi everyone!

We did the interview in Orlando today, everything went well, nothing to be worry about. She just asked me if I have a SSN, if I had a new medical (since mine was expired 2 weeks ago), and at the end she asked me for proof like photos and Tax return. When she walked us to the door to leave She told us that she will approved our case once she goes back her the office and the card will take about a month. After 5 minutes I received a text message saying new card is being produced. Now my question is, the i-130 still says case was received, that should change as well right?

Are we allowed to continue renewing our EAD's infinitely until the green card comes? I am opening a business this summer and it is imperative that I don't lose my ability to work once that is started.

Hi.. I have a question. I am in Houston, Texas. shouldnt drivers license expire when EAD expires?

I think it depends on the state. WA gave me full 5 year DL, even though my EAD expires May 15th 2018. DL expires my bday 2023!

That's interesting... bc I never carry my Greencard with me cause I thought, well, they can see my authorized legal stay according to my DL expiration date. In CA the DL always expires with your authorized legal stay. No wonder that the DMVs are so cramped here... have to go to the DMV again before my EAD expires and show the Greencard to get a new DL with new expiration date, once the Greencard expires have to show the extension letter and get a new one, once ROC is approved, have to go again to show the 10 year Greencard to get a new one. It's just so stupid...

I'm in CA and I got a full 5 year license just showing my EAD card.  The DMV branches all seem to do their own thing around here so I'm not surprised.  Glad I don't have to renew mine as much as yours!

Yes, I'm in Northern California.  Had to do the written test and driving test and then got my full licence for 5 years.

Ah okay that's what I figured...I heard the DMV offices up north are way more lenient. Thanks!

Hello fellow Feb filers

Did you see the new processing times format? Like in my case,  my field office is Dallas, the current case inquiry date is August 2015 for i-485. They said you can not submit an "outside normal processing time" inquiry if your receipt number is not before that??? Did they just make that extremely depressing for us?
