Yes, it was delivered to my mailbox, but I live in an apartment complex in which we have a mailroom with PO boxes. I checked right after it was delivered and it was not there. (We have had 2 other packages "delivered" that are missing too) I believe the carrier delivered to the wrong box, but they never found it. I talked to two supervisors and they said they did an audit of all the boxes and didn't find it. I don't know if they actually did that though.

They gave me a letter and USCIS tier 2 told us to send that letter along with a letter explaining things and they would waive payment. I did exactly what I was told and the application for rejected for non payment. So we have to file again with the $540 fee. What sucks most is that they will send out the same way and if my carrier does this again, we get to pay again.

Also, my husband has to travel out of the country for work and we won't have the green card in time even though we should have had it in August!

It's mind-numbing how fragile the whole system is, relying on snail mail for so many important documents.

I'm sure you've already tried, but international travel (appears to be) a good reason for them to give you an I-551 stamp at an Infopass.

Still waiting out here, too.

Hubby is going to take a day off of work so we can drive down to San Antonio since the Austin office doesn't do stamps. I hope they'll give him the stamp! We have a letter from his job about travel as proof but haven't bought the tickets yet in case he can't get the stamp for some reason.

I hope you hear something soon!

This is crazy!   It's weird how your packages and card went missing - and even if it was delivered to the wrong box one would have thought the person who received them would returned it to the leasing/apartment office.  It's just too sad, but hopefully you will receive the next one in your mail box soon.  Hang in there ok.

Hey @Texasfiler, I'm a Dallas filer too.  Any news?

Hi J217, nothing as yet, I contacted the Senator's office they sent in an enquiry hopefully I will hear something soon, but this long wait is beyond frustrating.

If anyone hasn't heard anything after the EAD, I suggest you could at least file an e-request online (https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do), which I filed mine on Oct. 31 and heard back on Nov. 16. Although it only said they cannot provide the timeframe on my case (just a canned response), a few days later I got another letter saying my application was approved on Nov. 20 with interview waived.

I am not sure if that online request really helped to facilitate it, or it just fell right on the normal processing time in my local office. Anyway, worth trying isn't it? Best of luck!

We had our interview in Seattle on Wednesday and the officer approved my husband right away! Our status hasn’t changed yet but I’m hoping the greencard will be here soon!

I am a Dallas filer and my husband's interview was the day before Thanksgiving. The interview went really well, I am 3 1/2 months pregnant and the guy asked us more about how excited we were about being parents than anything. We finally got our approval in the mail this evening. So relieved to be done (for now) lol. Best of luck to everyone else, especially other Dallas filers, hang in there!

Ok best of luck. I'm thinking of contacting the Senator too. I'll wait on their response to you!

Thank you!  Yes the Senators Office heard back from the National benefit Center they say that case is assigned to an officer and is currently under review and that I would receive a decision or notice of other action shortly. The response from Senator John Cornyn office was rather quick, cudos to them.
