The USCIS really scheduled my husband's interview the day before Thanksgiving....

I'd personally be happy any day they schedule me for an interview.
Why should they not work on a Wednesday?

That's a really good question, I am in the same boat as you 😒😒

I've from one filer in another forum that she renewed her medical exam and brought it to her interview. I've also read from googling that you might receive an RFE if the medical expires and they are not done adjudicating... oh my  ...another $$$$$ up in the wind

Whee, finally an update this morning - interview scheduled for December 14. There was no intermediate "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview" step. I did file a service request last week since it had been 6 months since the last update (response to RFE received) but that was never assigned to processing so unclear if that had any impact.

It's all in my timeline, but pretty similar dates to yours - filed early February, NOA for February 14, biometrics in Seattle March 20. We got an RFE for more financial info around end of April that we promptly responded to. This was the first update to the AOS since then.

My husband had a medical exam in Ukraine early November 2016, but without any vaccinations or vaccination history so when he came to America we did the vaccinations part with an immigration doctor (January 2017). His interview is November 29. Does he need a whole new medical exam?

We had NOA of Feb 2 (I think) then had an RFE and responded in April. Our interview in Seattle is November 29.

Did he do the gonnorhea test also? it is a requirement along with the vaccinations. If yes, maybe he's good. But as they say, it really depends on your interviewer, some said they got an RFE on medical after the interview.
