So, regarding this issue it seems many of us have with online tracking being unavailable and lack of dates on our NOA1s, I just got off the phone with the USCIS customer service line, since the nearest office for me to make an appointment would be a 2 hour drive away I'd like to avoid going there until biometrics!

First the agent told me that there is no available information for me in the automated system (ie online or phone tracking) but that it won't affect the processing of my case beyond not being able to track anything. He also said it can take "30-45 days for the information to update online" (which I think is just the usual canned USCIS response so that they don't have to fix it until then but anyway!).

My notices having no dates or my birthdate was a bit more concerning and he attempted to file a "typographical error" form in the system to get it fixed but because of the aforementioned lack of automated information about my case, the computer threw an error at him and I was on hold for a while. Then I was told that his "level" (ie level 1 customer service) wouldn't be able to do any more and I would need to speak to an "immigration officer" specifically, and that they're generally only in the office to be called from 8am to 11am.

I realize now I didn't check what time zone that would be in. Whoops.

I'm going to attempt to call tomorrow morning, or failing that on Thursday since I've got a lot of stuff planned tomorrow and I might not get to it. I'll keep the thread posted :)

My wife is here on a F-1 student visa and we were married in 10/2016. Submitted packet (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-864) on 2/14/16 via FedEx to Chicago Lockbox and received 2/16/17. Just got the 3 text receipts today (2/28/17) and a confirmation receipt e-mail. I wonder if the holiday (President's day) slowed down processing of the application.

My NOA1's came through yesterday, and like most on here, some details were missing. I know some of you are fixing this, but is it essential to get that sorted, or can I go through the process with the info blank?

I would suggest makiing an appointment with INFO pass to get this sorted out.  It is your only documentation, after your i-94 expires, stating that you are here in good terms.  In my case, my husband needs this so extend his DL expiration.

Thank you, I have taken your advice on board and booked an appointment with my local office for the 15th March. You are probably right in it's better to have a completely correct NOA1 for everything than to have bits missing :)

Hi everyone. Not sure how many of you were helping us with our situation. But basically our packet was delivered to Chicago on the 10th, but was somehow not scanned in. We called and raised hell at the post office (we thought they lost it) and USCIS. Someone must have gotten tired of us calling because today we got the e notification with receipt number. We think that it was collected from the lockbox but maybe got dropped or put in the wrong place. Anyway, it took 19 days to get the notification.

Hi everyone!

We sent our package on 02/08. Received NOA1s last tuesday. The NOAS did not have dates etc on them. Spoke to USCIS. The lady was rude and told me it was not possible for the dates not to be printed. We basically got nowhere with it and I was told nothing could be done about it. the case status check was not working. I was again told that the receipt numbers are incorrect. I felt stressed and uneasy after the call. I managed to make an infopass appointment for last friday. The lady at the office was very nice and managed to rectify the problem by contacting MSC and asking them to fax over duplicate copies they have with the dates. The whole process for her was a nightmare because she had to jump through hoops to get it done for me too but she told me having those dates is a must . I asked her about the online case status check , she told it is down and that they are unable to access it as well but they are working on getting it fixed.

I would urge everyone that has the same problem to make an infopass appointment if possible. I know some you may be far from an office. It was really worth our journey and time. It really has put me at ease because having those dates on NOAs are very important when I-94 expires. It proves our immigration status

Also I read on another website that infopass appointments open up 4pm-6pm Texas Time or 3pm-5pm East coast time.

I was able to make an appointment  for next day at 4.15 my time then needed to change it as it did not suit my husbands work schedule so I managed to make another one at around 5pm for 2 days later.

Just waiting for biometrics appointment now

Hope this helps!!

Having the same issue with my NOA1s not having dates. I've called multiple times and they are looking into it and will call me back in 2-4 business days. I also submitted the typographic error form online but should expect a reply by March 22 (ugh!). I also made an appointment on Infopass for March 15, so whichever happens first. Just want to get it taken care of so I can get my drivers license.

Very frustrating situation, hopefully they figure it out asap for those looking to correct it and future filers.

This is rejection notice of my k2 son. I signed in the "signature of person preparing form, if other than above" instead of "signature of applicant" think I am the preparer . And uscis sent all out documents and forms back . But I dont understand what is priority date as it is mentioned in this form i-797c -"based on the information you provided, your priority date couldnt be established" i dont understand what does it mean. And also there is written so many forms. i.e. i-130, i-140, i-360, i-526 in his i-797c .it made me even more confused. Do anyone know here which form should we send for the AOS of k2? I sent was
