So expedite with job offer although you don't have a co-sponsor worked for you? I'll try the same then... I hate how every single person on that stupid hotline (or in this case the IO) tells you something different.

I don't even have a job offer. I just faxed them a letter that I really need the EAD because it could cost financial loss to us any day now if I don't start working. Either it worked or just my case is really overdue... been waiting for 132 days.

Oh... was getting my hopes up. What did you submit? Like how did you prove that? Did you receive a RFIE?

It's super hard not to compare to other cases! Have had no news since biometrics in March. Husband has EAD, but nothing on the green card front. We are all waiting, I know. I check back here weekly to see how everyone is progressing. I guess we have to wait six months from Feb to call and inquire. Not even an interview date :(:(

I did not submit any proof. I just wrote them a letter.. explaining that we have been waiting for 120+ days and I told them my son is college bound, he needs to be able to support himself.

Oh okay, I guess your case is completely different then. I'm happy for you that it eventually worked out.😊 But you didn't get a RFIE before, right?

That's completely normal though if you are adjusting from a K1. It's likely you will get a waiver if you haven't heard anything about it by now (which it seems since you didn't get a notice that your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview). So you'll likely just get it switched to card is being produced or similar around the 6-8 months mark.

I'm hoping for the same...we'll see what happens within the next couple of months. So far, my GC status hasn't changed yet :)

It's possible, but also very possible with an interview. I filed on December 20, had "fingerprint fee received" up until last friday (June 16) when it changed to "interview is scheduled". I never had any other status in between those two and never received an RFE either. I went to an infopass for an issue I had and my case was still with NBC then, that was in mid-May.

This has also happened to more people in the December thread. I guess sometimes the online case status just doesn't update to "ready to schedule interview" and just goes straight to "interview scheduled" instead.
