What is your expedite based on?

I have a job offer but was told by a IO that since my husband is my main sponsor and I don't have a co-sponsor I can not expedite based on financial loss or financial hardship (meaning I can't expedite at all). Super frustrating. Have to wait it out.

Also for everyone still waiting... I was told that they consider I-765 processing of 3-5 months still within current processing times 😳😱

I guess I'll get the same answer then. That sucks.:(

Well let's hope for the best! I didn't submit the paper to request it as I've already heard that this is the case. I just called the service hotline and let the representative transfer me to an IO because I wanted to hear it from someone official. She just confirmed what I had already thought (no expedite for people without co-sponsor). I personally think that each IO handles cases different though so maybe you get lucky and it gets approved :)

I expedited due to job offer for financial loss without having a co sponsor and I had no problems with it! I also already made the experience that you'll get a different answer to the same questions from different people so just try until you get someone who helps you

hello folks, so long haven't commented on here, please you all forgive me, congratulations to all that had a movement in their updates this past week, hold on, hang in there, be positive and I believe we shall have more positive updates this week. I know some may ask which moral standards do I have to still say be positive after many months, reasons are that is the only thing that can keep us going and to avoid a bad one happening to us out of too much worry, please and please stay calm.

most times I wonder why after preaching that they value families and wish them to be together, they go ahead and waste peoples' precious time by waiting this many months to get EAD/green card to get back on track with their lives, this, can not only separate families but can lead to mental, physical, spiritual etc health hazards. USCIS should please save souls from this.

stay fine, cheer up and believe it will be best this week. will keep you guys posted after my interview on Wednesday, 21st. God bless you all.

Hey everyone! Just to let people know that things are rolling along in California.

My PD is February 13, and I just got a email notification today on an interview scheduled for 7/19 (my previous status was "fingerprint fees received" since end of March). For those wondering, I have already received my EAD card at the end of April.

:)

December filer here and I agree, seems like California is moving along quite well right now. I too got an update about interview being scheduled on the 16th, I'm going for my interview on July 18. And just like you my status went straight from "fingerprint fee received" to "interview scheduled". Can't wait for this to be over, haha

So expedite with job offer although you don't have a co-sponsor worked for you? I'll try the same then... I hate how every single person on that stupid hotline (or in this case the IO) tells you something different.
