You wont get a tracking number. You have to register on usps to see it

I wonder when the status changes to "Card was mailed to me". Is it normal that you sometimes have to wait a couple of days?

I am in the same boat! My case was received February 17th and I have heard nothing... No RFE, no Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview, just silence.

Same here.

Case says" Fingerprint fee received on February 24th. And like you, no RFE, no interview scheduled or anything. But I think that's normal and as normal as it might be, the status could change next week.

One never knows with USCIS...

If you get a notice that case is ready to be scheduled for interview it means that MSC has transferred your case to your local USCIS office, and they will take it from there. If your interview is waived you will never see that step and it will go straight to approval/card production. Some posters seem to claim that interview waiver cases may actually take longer though, but I think it is safe to say that most of our cases will take more than 6 months...

Plenty of examples earlier in this thread - the average lately looks like 2-3 days for production to mailing.

I'm really sorry to say, but you can't actually request an expedite based on processing time alone. If you try to expedite, you need to select a reason and then need to provide evidence.

Are you confusing an expedite request with a service request? Sadly USCIS ditched the 90 day promise so they can take as long as they'd like. I hope you get some good news soon though.

Hi. Actually, I only called the Tier 2 officer to asked about my EAD case because it's already more than 120 days. He was the one who offered to put in an expedite request, so I just said sure. Then after 3 days I received a mail asking for reason to expedite. I already faxed my response to them but I am not feeling positive right now.

My husband just really needs it before Christmas. He hasn't seen his family since he got here, as I'm sure most on here haven't either. I am hoping it won't take 10 months to get it.

Why didn't you apply for AP then? It would've been free. I don't know if it'd still be free now if you were to send in the paperwork now, but it might be worth looking into because there's no guarantee that the green card will be approved by then. 10 months is definitely possible, but I still wouldn't book any flights until you have the green card in hand.

We didn't think we needed it. We don't have tickets booked, and we don't have a reason to go other than it being Christmas and he misses his family. I looked at the AP form and took it that it was for emergencies, not a vacation. We also didn't think it would take 10 months for a green card. That being said, once we hit September, we might look into getting AP for December if no green card has been produced. Do people use AP for vacations and is it sort of risky to get back in?
