Our lawyer submitted our papers on Friday and it was delivered by Monday the 13th since then We've been waiting anxiously for our NOAs till I got an email today from my lawyer telling me that the biometric fees was not attached in our package and asking me to pay it asap. The lawyer is telling me that will get a notice for the biometric fees but I'm worried that the package will get rejected and we will have to file again( another delay ugh).

the whole idea of hiring a lawyer is make sure the process is going complete and smooth.

you can't believe how frustrated I am now.

hope it's for the best.

From experience, lawyers don't do anything but sit around and wait until you give them everything. I used a lawyer for the fiancé visa, I ended up having to take over because I realized she was giving me back the wrong paper work to fill out.

Hello,  like a few others, our packet was delivered to the post office in Chicago on Feb 14 and I have not heard anything since.  I'm not going to get too worried until we get past 30 days.  I included a G-1145 and used a personal check which has not been cashed yet.

After all, sending thru UPS is the longest time to get your AOS received? I sent in application feb22, it will get there feb28 according to UPS. Or should have I paid more so that it will get there faster? Anyway, I hope I didn't forget anything. God bless us all feb filers! ????

I am joining the club.  My husband is adjusting from B-2 visitor status.  Our application was sent via FedEx on the Thursday the 23rd. Today is Saturday and I see that it has arrived at a FedEx facility in Chicago.   Hopefully it will get to the USCIS office on Monday, instead of the Tuesday delivery time given on the receipt.

Hey, so I checked the other topics too. Someone updated it and said that they went to an Infopass appointment. They were able to get a duplicate NOA1 with the dates on them. It was a printing error on USCIS part. The original letters have the notice date and received dates, etc. Now I'm debating if I should bother to make an appointment or not. Some have said there should be no issues if they don't have dates on them.

If anyone has the same problems as we do, where there is no dates on your NOA1, you can make an appointment with Infopass to visit a local USCIS Office and receive a duplicate NOA1 with the dates on it. The website is (https://my.uscis.gov/appointment). I didn't know about this so thought I would share the information in case someone else is looking for it too.

Good luck everyone.

AOS

2/10/2017 -> AOS Package (I-485, I-864, I-765, I-131) mailed to Chicago Lockbox by USPS

2/21/2017 -> NOA1 received through text and email!

2/23/2017 -> Physical NOA1 received for all three

3/02/2017 -> RFE (initial evidence) received, needed to send 2016 tax return (filed after package was sent out)

3/10/2017 -> Biometrics letter received.

3/24/2017 -> Biometrics appointment scheduled.

4/29/2017 -> EAD/AP card received. =)

waiting game begins.....

Thank you! There is an office close to us so I just went ahead and made an appointment for March. It's good to hear that there seem to be quite a few people with that problem so I'm not worried about it but I would really like to be able to track my cases online and I think I will need the NOA1 to get my drivers license
