I didn't file for AP. Just EAD and AOS. I know that AP goes with EAD as a combo card, so you might be seeing an update tomorrow or early next week perhaps.

...is currently not assigned for processing.

Can someone tell me what this means?

ead information.JPG

That means your service request (inquiry) is pending assignment to someone to look at it. It will probably stay like that or end up being assigned then immediately closed and show messages to that effect since you've got a status update that makes it irrelevant! Congratulations

Also, my AP's status didn't change (and still hasn't even though I have received a combo card). So, if you applied for both EAD and AP, you're getting a combo card and your status might not even change until you receive a hard copy notification in the mail saying your AP was approved and you'll get a combo card.

Congrats! So glad things are finally moving along.

EAD/AP: 02/14/17 - 05/26/17 (101 days)

ROC: 05/19/19 - 04/23/20 (340 days)

N-400: (249 days)

9/13/2020- Application filed online

9/21/2020 - NOA1 received

12/10/2020 - NOA2 biometrics reuse

2/2/2021 - NOA3 N-400 interview scheduled for 3/16/2021

3/8/2021 - NOA4 N-400 interview cancelled

3/15/2021 - NOA5 N-400 interview re-scheduled

4/27/2021 - Interview (approved)

4/28/2021 NOA6 Oath ceremony scheduled

5/20/2021 - Oath ceremony

How long does it usually takes until the EAD card is in the mail? A week?

Congrats guys! I'm so jealous ;)

Question.. I applied AOS and EAD with my adult son. Do you think we will get approval at the same time?

You should get approved at the same time. I and my 6 year son get approved at the same time of EAD and AP. Hold on there u ll hear good news very soon. Wish you good luck :)

The notification is not from USCIS, it is from USPS. You need to be signed up for the My USPS service, then you'll get this kind of notification for all incoming shipments.
